I want to thank all the staff at the Valdeluz residence for the care they gave my mother, María, during the two months and one week she was there. She was admitted on August 26th of this year after going 15 days without food, 13 of those days being spent hospitalized at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation with a urinary tract infection and gallstones. During this time, she was treated with great care and professionalism by all the employees, especially those on the second floor, where she was. After making the difficult decision to admit her, I also received support from all of you. Thank you for the kindness and professionalism.

Hello everyone! We were delighted with our stay from September to December 2025, both at Neuron and Valdeluz. The staff were lovely, very friendly, and any questions were answered promptly. The center is very welcoming. Our rehabilitation at Neuron was very positive. Highly recommended! 👍🏼👍🏼

My grandfather was there for about a year, and my experience with this care home has been very disappointing. The organization is clearly deficient, something that is noticeable on a daily basis and especially in the care of those with the greatest needs. There is an obvious shortage of caregivers, which causes constant delays in basic care such as assistance getting up, bathing, repositioning, or simply providing companionship. It is unacceptable that dependent people have to wait long periods due to insufficient staff. This situation generates distress among both the residents and the staff themselves, who feel overwhelmed and unable to provide dignified care despite their best efforts. The lack of planning and adequate human resources directly impacts the quality of life of those who live there. A care home should be a place of care and tranquility, and unfortunately, here the disorganization and lack of staff prevent it from fulfilling that objective.

My experience was a year ago, and I still haven't gotten over it. During the few days my mother was in this nursing home, it was a complete disaster. Indeed, it looked great, but the management was terrible. There were no activities; if you don't pay attention, they leave her in the chair all day. A week after arriving, she got COVID, and we had to admit her to the hospital... then they didn't follow the guidelines set by the hospital, and she had to be readmitted... a shame, a real disaster. After all the effort we had looking for a nursing home, we ended up choosing the worst. I'm so sorry!

I've finally decided to write about this place after my mother passed away 15 days ago. If your father or mother is a dependent person, it's very risky to bring them to this place. The lack of staff, even though they claim to meet the required ratio, makes it impossible for the caregivers to notice what's happening and attend to them properly most of the time: falls, poor clothing, being left uncomfortably in an armchair for most of the day. If you don't go every day to check on them, forget about your "dependent" relative being comfortable in this residence. And I can say this with certainty because, due to personal circumstances, my mother had to stay there for three and a half years, much to my regret. It's also very difficult to move a person with cognitive impairment, and since they know this, your complaints are something they don't care about or have any effect on at all. The facilities are very good, but that's not all. Effective care for dependent people is, I believe, the most important thing. Medication errors are also frequent, and the food is generally quite poor. The only positive aspect, in my opinion, is the work of some of the caregivers: Thais, Katherin, Maribel, and a few others who have since left and therefore aren't mentioned here. Their work is crucial, and it's not valued as it should be. My recommendation for those of you struggling to find a place for your dependent relative is: "I absolutely do not recommend it."
