Opiniones

We want to highlight the superb management of Las Celindas Residence, from the administration to the coordination of medical care and daily activities. This has given us enormous peace of mind during the year and a half our mother has been there, knowing she has been in the hands of professionals. We would like to emphasize the affection and dedication with which they have treated our mother and, by extension, all the residents. It is clear they see the elderly as part of their family. It is a small center, with its limitations, but where affection more than compensates for any shortcomings. Our mother has felt loved, respected, and cared for at all times. Her well-being and her smile have been the best proof of the excellent work. Las Celindas is not just a place to live, but a true home filled with human warmth. We wholeheartedly recommend Las Celindas to anyone looking not only for professional care, but also for an environment where affection and dedication are the priority.

In my case, my father lives in another nursing home nearby. I want to write here because these opinions really make my hair stand on end. Aren't there any controls by the Community of Madrid? They granted him a public place in this nursing home a few months ago, but after reading the reviews, I gave up. I don't know, isn't there anyone who responds to everything commented here? In whose hands do we leave our loved ones? Since they don't even bother to reply, I don't know what to believe anymore, I'm telling you the truth.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. To use a term that reflects the quality of this residence, it's a CONCENTRATION CAMP. My father-in-law lost 16 kg in 3 months—yes, 16 kg—an elderly man with Alzheimer's. When asked for explanations, no one noticed (fantastic medical team). To prevent residents, who I repeat have mental health issues, from leaving their floor, they have a sophisticated system: A WOODEN BARRIER TO PREVENT CHILDREN FROM CLIMBING THE STAIRS, WHICH OPENS BY PUSHING IT (YOU CAN PULL IT AWAY WITH ONE FINGER...), WITHOUT ANY LOCK. With this technology, the alarming number of residents falling down the stairs is understandable, and the standard response is: I WASN'T ON THAT SHIFT. I sincerely hope they close that center as soon as possible, because the staff is insufficient, they have no professionalism and they don't expect it, and the facilities look like they're from the 80s (haven't they realized it's 2025 yet?), with absolutely no maintenance. If anyone is thinking of taking a family member there, don't. It's the closest thing to abandoning and leaving defenseless the person who needs the most care.

I was apprehensive about the reviews of this residence, but my aunt spent two months there and loved it. We also have no complaints. The treatment has always been very good. They kept us informed about everything at all times, and you can clearly see the care the staff members show toward all the residents. Great job!

I had my mother there for a few years and it was a very bad experience. There is no organization, they are constantly changing staff and there is one nurse for every resident, not to mention the lack of humanity because it is clear that not everyone has a vocation. Except for 2 or even 3 staff members, the rest are terrible, starting with the so-called "Director." It's a shame that many times we have no alternative, but my experience was what it was.
