After eight years of my mother's stay at the care home, she spent the last week in a palliative care room. I've always had a good experience with the staff at this residence, but during this last week, I have no words to express my gratitude to the caregivers for the way they treated her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of them. I would like to extend a very special thank you to Sonia, for her boundless joy and overflowing affection, and above all, to Germán, the best caregiver my mother could have ever dreamed of. I also want to thank all the staff at the residence and Nuria for the work they do every day caring for the most important people in our lives. And, although we sometimes had different perspectives, we always found common ground that was best for our residents. I hope you continue to do such wonderful work with the elderly.

My experience has been very special. Having to leave your father so he could receive all the care he deserved is an act of generosity, but it also allowed us to experience the most humane, helpful, and professional side of everyone at the residence. The cleanliness and the way he was treated were wonderful. Without a doubt, it was the best decision we made. You were like another family to my father. He felt very loved. All I can say is THANK YOU. My grandfather's stay there was brief but intense. During those six months, he was able to enjoy himself, dance, sing, go on excursions... You treated him with the utmost care and warmth. Likewise, when he was in his final moments, you supported him and us in the most compassionate way, offering your love and being there when he needed it. Finally, I can only say thank you for searching for his mask, his glasses, and his cell phone, which took so much patience.

My mother has always been with them since she moved into the care home. She has received a lot of love and affection. There are some caregivers I wouldn't hire, but what place doesn't have something that isn't quite right? The point is that it's important that this kind of treatment of the residents is visible, discussed, and not hidden. We've been in the care home for many years, and we've had better and worse times, which we've always managed to resolve one way or another. Respect for the elderly, especially those who can't speak for themselves, should be paramount. I missed the possibility of family members participating in the activity room in Manzanares, especially on weekends, as many residents can't go out in bad weather, and being entertained with individual or group activities led by family members would be very welcome. Regarding the facilities, they are very clean, the linens are well cared for, and the rooms and beds are perfectly adapted for the elderly. The surroundings were very pleasant and there was a lot of life nearby, which allowed us to enjoy ourselves and talk to people. Right next door is the town park, always full of children who bring so much life to the place. Thank you to all the staff, the doctor, and the owners, who treated my mother with such respect and love every day. Thank you for treating us with respect and courtesy as well.

I want to make it clear that this nursing home is what its members (employees, professionals, managers, owners, etc.) want: to be a FAMILY, where the residents themselves form a close knit relationship and behave as such. It's such a great guarantee to admit your family member and experience the treatment and comfort they feel there. My father was very calm until the very end.
