Opiniones

Good evening, My experience at this nursing home is lamentable. And I say lamentable above all and especially because of the treatment by the manager, María, who is a person with nothing more than a financial interest in this business. In my case, she lied to me, and from the things I've seen that I didn't like about the treatment my mother received, and which I've asked to be corrected, it seems she's taken a dislike to me. My mother had her arm in a sling, and they removed it two weeks after the operation, when the medical report only said to start moving her elbow. It took me a long time to get the sling back on, some compression stockings went missing (they eventually turned up, but they kept putting me off telling me they were going to buy her some, and my mother was in the middle of summer with swollen ankles), they issued her more medication than necessary... and to top it all off, when my mother was no longer in the nursing home, they continued issuing the medication because she hadn't filed a medical certificate with the pharmacy. The manager said she'd send the medication to my home. I gave them my address, but nothing happened. They confirmed that the medication was free (already inappropriate) and then returned my deposit. They made a mistake with a wire transfer they made to me for the gardener. The manager asked me to return it. Since I was traveling, I made several arrangements to return it, asking about the delivery of the medication. The response was always "I'll send it to you tomorrow." I returned from my trip on a Thursday (only two days), and that day they were supposed to send me the medication, but they didn't. I, foolishly, returned the transfer because I trusted their good faith. And to my astonishment, when I called her because she hadn't sent it (the following Monday), María answered with lies, telling me she was waiting for me at the Center and that I had told her I would pick it up there. It's a disgrace. It made me feel so bad, so cheated... it was so mean... María, if you read this, you'll now say they're waiting for me at the Center. The worst part is how badly you treated me; you took the money and then told me to go away. You brought this criticism on yourself. My recommendation is that this residency isn't worth it. The organization is "I cook it, I eat it," and the staff is probably insufficient and not well coordinated.

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, it's worth it. My father has been in the care home for months, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whenever we call, they keep us informed without any problem, and it's clear that there's good organization and oversight. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the staff knows the residents well. As a family, that gives us a lot of peace of mind.

My mother has been at the residence for a while now, and honestly, we've been at ease since the management changed, I think in 2023. You can tell they're investing in the center, and the staff is very personal; they clearly know the residents well. María is on top of everything 24/7, and the caregivers, like Yesica and Natalia, treat my mother with kindness and respect. It's not a cold or impersonal place; on the contrary, it has a very family-like atmosphere. For us, that was the most important thing.

My mother has been at the Soto del Real Residence for a few months now, and we are delighted. The staff is very attentive, always willing to help and provide detailed information about her condition. It's clear the professionals are dedicated, as they treat the residents with great care. Furthermore, the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended!

My grandfather has been in this residence for over a year, and I'm not exaggerating when I say they saved his life. He was admitted in a very fragile state, both physically and emotionally, and thanks to the constant care and compassionate treatment from the staff, he is now stable, cheerful, and well looked after. Every time we visit, we see him clean, happy, and eager to talk. The staff is always attentive, keeps us informed about everything, and treats the residents with genuine affection. That's why some negative reviews bother me; they have nothing to do with the reality we experience as a family. Speaking ill of a place where our elders are truly cared for is unfair. I can only express my gratitude to the team for their daily efforts.
