Opiniones

Terrible nursing home. If you can, avoid admitting your loved ones there. It's gone from bad to worse. Clothes disappear the same day you bring them (even though they're marked). In winter, residents are half-dressed, without socks or undershirts. More than once, we've found our relative in a simple gown. The excuse is that they can't find their clothes because other residents enter the rooms and take them. Meager and poorly cooked food. They don't give the appropriate medication. On the last few visits, a resident urinated in the living room, and despite notifying us, no one comes to clean. As soon as they give us another nursing home, we'll take our relative. They've changed the name of the nursing home, but the management is still terrible.

My mother, after more than six years in the nursing home, has just passed away. We have nothing but words of gratitude for the nursing home staff. They have devoted themselves to us in her final days, but also in these six years, with a humanity that transcends any problems that may have arisen during this time. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Felicidad Fernández Gallego's family.

We asked for two things: medication control and ostomy care and hygiene. And neither. The pills were constantly in the drawer. This caused serious problems. One weekend, she said she wasn't well, that we didn't see her well, and the response was, "As long as her vitals aren't bad, she won't be going to the hospital." A week later, she was dying of severe sepsis, and was admitted on Monday. The attitude at the time and after her death was truly shameful.

This nursing home is the worst of the worst!! If the resident isn't mentally stable, as is the case with my father... they're completely inadequate for the needs of an elderly person in this situation. We personally went through hell until we were able to get him out of there; we couldn't get him out sooner because we couldn't find a place anywhere. Every few days he had chafing in his private parts (they weren't changing his diapers as required), his toenails were incredibly long when I was checking on him (no one told me he needed to see a podiatrist), and I found bruises all over his body with green, raised welts every time I lifted his clothes during a visit. Not to mention the falls he had—eight in 40 days, in broad daylight, and I found him in rooms that weren't his. (Being a person who uses a walker and is on the floor with the highest level of supervision) I called the day after coming home from the hospital to ask about him, and the ward staff didn't know he had been admitted (they didn't read the previous day's reports). Every time you complain, the management of the residence tells you what you want to hear, and nothing they say is ever fulfilled. In short: Total negligence!!! There are numerous written and verbal complaints. The management of the center is not up to the task of running a place like this. When you complain, they meet with you or call you to apologize and tell you it won't happen again, and the next day the same thing happens, or worse. To work in a care home, you need to be dedicated, and this place has very little professionalism and dedication. I'm giving it one star because otherwise I can't publish the review.

My mother is in this care home. The food leaves much to be desired; I went up to her room yesterday and it was quite dirty. As for the staff, it's a mixed bag—some are very kind and caring, while others are downright awful. The laundry seems to disappear. Anyway, requesting a transfer involves a lot of paperwork, but I might try.
