My mother stayed at Edalia Arturo Soria for one year, from March 22nd to March 23rd, when she passed away. I can only speak highly of this residence and its staff, in every way. To mention just one negative detail: my mother died in a hospital, after being admitted and therefore away from the residence for five days, in the early hours of Wednesday morning. I notified them of her death first thing Thursday morning and arranged to come and collect her belongings on Friday morning, after the funeral, to free up the room. Thirty-six hours had passed since her death. When I arrived, understandably very distraught as it was a very painful task, I found that they were already doing renovations in the room to prepare it for another resident. I had to gather my mother's belongings amidst torn-up wood and tools. It upset me greatly and seemed unnecessary. Apart from this, as I said at the beginning, everything was excellent, both the staff and the facilities.

The service was absolutely appalling due to the receptionist's rudeness (I'm describing her because I don't know her name, so her superiors can identify her and take action). She was very dark-skinned, with an aquiline nose and very plucked eyebrows. I tried to pay in the parking lot with coins, which it wouldn't accept, then with bills, which it also wouldn't accept. Although they have signs with all kinds of payment methods, they only accept cards. But the worst part is that, no matter how many times you press "receipt," it doesn't give you one. You have to walk a long way to get to the Residence, and there, at Reception, this woman rudely takes your payment and leaves you hanging, saying "goodbye" when you try to explain that the machine should accept all the payment methods advertised on the signs, but above all, SHE SHOULD GIVE YOU YOUR RECEIPT IMMEDIATELY, without you having to waste your time walking all the way to the Residence building, let alone having to put up with such arrogance and bad manners. I should mention that the reason I decided to go there is because this issue of only being able to pay by card, and also the fact that you never get a receipt, isn't a one-off thing, but it's been happening to me there for months now.

Exquisite humane treatment, despite the challenges of caring for elderly people with medical conditions. 10/10 facilities. During the three years of his serious illness, my father found a home there with PEOPLE who put caring into their professional treatment. Thank you, Edalia de Corazón, for making this last painful time more bearable.

Our experience at this residence has been very positive, and beyond the excellent care, food, facilities, and activities, I want to highlight the exceptionally caring and kind treatment from the staff. After more than two years, we feel, not quite at home because it isn't, but very reassured about our loved one being in the best hands. One particularly commendable aspect is their constant commitment to continuous improvement and their active listening to family members.

My mother has been in the Residence for almost two years now. One service that has improved significantly in recent months is the Activities Department. Gloria's arrival has been a real joy. She's always organizing things, very caring and concerned about the residents, and has a wonderful relationship with the families. It's a pleasure to have her around. I'd also like to mention Javier from the nursing staff. He's one of the best nurses. Very professional. The nursing assistants Ramón, Alba, Teresa, and others treat all the residents with exceptional kindness. Finally, I must mention Rosa and Gloria at reception. They are very kind, always attentive to everything, and incredibly patient.
