What started out so well has deteriorated uncontrollably. Many people are caring towards our elderly residents, others are indifferent, and I don't know how others continue working there. They don't pay attention to the elderly residents; they don't clean their faces if they get food on them, they don't clean their glasses, they always dress them in the same clothes, sometimes not even their own despite having their names labeled on them, and they don't give them body and face lotion even though they encourage you to bring their own soaps and toiletries that the residents are used to. But the worst part is that things go missing. They tell you they exchange them among themselves. But wedding rings that are impossible to remove because of arthritis—how is it possible that one day they're suddenly gone? I don't want to imagine the damage they did to remove them. It's a shame that these people work with the elderly. What a pity.

Our experience has been very, very good. Fantastic personal treatment, and the patients are very well cared for thanks to the people who work there and the organization of the residence. The nursing staff is fantastic, very attentive to the residents, empathizing wonderfully with them, as are all the assistants. The food was very good; I don't want to forget that detail.

My grandfather was admitted to DomusVi a year ago in a very delicate state of health: he could barely walk, was absent, didn't communicate with us, and required frequent hospitalizations. He now uses a walker but has started walking again, participates in activities, celebrates a lot, and has regained his connection with his family.
