Thank you, Valmonte, for the excellent care and treatment you provided to our father in the final years of his life and for making him feel at home. The professionalism and, above all, the warmth with which you have always treated him have ensured he had the best possible quality of life, and we can never thank you enough. Valmonte is the Relais & Châteaux of residences. Although, for us, it's not a residence, it's a home. Upon entering, one senses calm, order, and cleanliness. The decor is very warm, with upholstery that makes you feel at home, impeccable marble floors in the hallways, and plenty of light throughout. The staff is polite and respectful, as well as very professional, and everything runs like clockwork. Obviously, in four years, there have been some errors that have been satisfactorily resolved, always with management (first Milagros and now Marta) standing up and taking action when necessary. The facilities are excellent, with a garden that is an absolute delight, and both the lobby and the lounge on the 3rd floor are super warm, elegant, and inviting. The cuisine is excellent, varied, with excellent ingredients and excellent portions. I don't know if there are many residences that serve clams, shrimp, or hake of the quality served at Valmonte. They have impeccable housekeeping. Not only are they very good at their job, but they also always put the well-being of the resident first, and if they have to return later, for whatever reason, they do so willingly and with a smile. It couldn't be any other way with the adorable and always smiling Paloma at the helm and Carmen accompanying her. They have their own laundry room, which works phenomenally. They're always busy, but they find a second to say hello and smile. At Valmonte, the residents come first, and that's what makes it a residence I 100% recommend. It's very expensive, but it's worth it. For us, he will always be Valmonte, and we hope Ballesol doesn't undo the excellent work Milagros did for more than 30 years, which Marta, her more than worthy successor, is now doing. The gradual adaptation of care and nutrition as Papi's degenerative disease progressed has always been done with great respect, affection, and care for his well-being. They also take care of the family. They have always communicated the changes associated with his progressive deterioration with great care, timing, and manner, giving us the space and warmth we needed when receiving news we didn't like to hear. The affection and respect they have shown us in recent days also demonstrate this. Everyone's work is excellent. Thank you, Marta, Maruchi, Marga, Estela, María, Miriam, Doctor Zubieta, Zoe, Rafael, and the rest of the staff (we can't remember all the names right now...). But if there's one team that has been key to our family, it's the assistants. There are no words of gratitude for them, nor any salary to pay for their work. Thank you to our beloved Verónica, Marco, Esther, Luisa, Natalia, Antonio, Betty, Saúl, Elisabeth, Dakota, and Yuliana. We have given them constantly over the years, but certainly not enough. Thank you, Verónica, Marco, Esther, Dakota, and Yuliana, for visiting Papi in his final days to express your warmth and affection of your own accord. Once again, you showed us your great humanity. Thank you, from the bottom of your heart, for the excellent care, the affection, and respect with which you have always treated Papi. Especially for the palliative care he received in his final days, which was perfectly organized. Saying goodbye to a father and husband is very difficult, if not impossible, but seeing him so well cared for during the last hours of his life allowed us to be with him with peace of mind and love, which is what he deserved. My father has been in that nursing home for two years, and the care they offer him is incredible. But what I'll remember is his physical and mental recovery, for which I had no hope. When I needed it most, they not only helped him, but they made everything easier for me so it wouldn't be so hard or difficult. A wonderful residence, with qualified staff and impeccable customer service. My grandmother is absolutely delighted with all the professionals who work there, from the caregivers to the management team. I can't say enough good things about this residence. Magnificent facilities, highly qualified staff always attentive to every detail, and impeccable management. My mother spent three months here, and her condition is completely different from when she arrived; the improvement has been remarkable.
