Opiniones

Hello! My name is Mayte, and I want to say that my experience at this residence has been absolutely wonderful. The staff doesn't just do their job; they do it with extraordinary professionalism. Their dedication translates into a loving and respectful approach to the residents, our elders, that leaves you with a priceless sense of peace after every visit. It's such a shame my mother couldn't enjoy this amazing team for longer. A million thanks to everyone, and lots of love! 🦋🦋🦋😘

I don't know what would have become of my mother if she weren't in this nursing home. She came from those fancy nursing homes, which, of course, have a toilet in their rooms. But meanwhile, patients with cognitive needs are placed in front of a television and shown MariSol and Manolo Escobar movies. Since my mother has been here, she's had a wonderful occupational therapist in the morning and a physiotherapist, who's a real treat, in the afternoon. They throw parties, they get them to participate in the four seasons of the year, and by the way, the food is very good. I haven't heard about it, but I've eaten there myself! The high price? Of course, if the Community of Madrid had more public nursing homes or more public places, it would be amazing. In the meantime, my thanks to the top-notch professionals, to the doctor (who is there), the podiatrist, and the hairdresser. Why do we have to pay for it? Let's demand it from the Community of Madrid. Thanks to the management, for how they manage my mother administratively, physically, and, above all, mentally. And to those nurses and assistants, without whom my mother's life wouldn't be as good. Thank you.

SHAMEFUL. They don't care AT ALL about the residents' health. If it weren't for the daily visits, we wouldn't have noticed that our relative was fatigued, a drop in oxygen levels that led to hospitalization. We, the family, were also on the lookout for fluid retention, and that way they would notify the doctor, who would then change the treatment plan, but if not... I could give many more examples like this. They don't pay attention to other residents who might need more supervision, so they go into other rooms at night and assault the elderly. The wounds were awful, and I won't even tell you how they treated them... After one of the residents returned from hospital, he fell out of bed because they hadn't put up bed rails at night (they're the professionals who know that he'd had bed rails in the hospital and that these procedures can be disorienting for residents, so they certainly know he'll need them in the care home, and they should also be checking his health at that moment). And what they tell you is that they won't put them up without our consent, but of course they don't explain that this consent is necessary, making us feel guilty. At the very least, they should tell/explain to the family that the resident might need those bed rails and that our consent would be required, but of course, they just stay silent. They also won't be monitoring whether the person urinates a little, a lot, or not at all, which led to a urinary tract infection that caused significant kidney failure and subsequent death. Oh! And if you think they're going to refund the money they didn't use during their stay, or even from the moment you notify them that your relative won't be returning to the residence (due to a terminal condition in the hospital or another reason)... After you complain, they tell you that, according to the contract, the notification must be made legally via email or in person at the center, but they don't tell you that the same day you call to say they won't be coming back. Or they tell you that you have to give 15 days' notice, HAHAHAHA, as if we were fortune tellers with a crystal ball to know when someone is going to die. Anyway. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Don't even bother replying to this comment, Madre Maravillas Geriatric Center, since you're just trying to deny everything. What I want is to help other families so they don't go through the same thing we did.
