DomusVi Monforte recibe opiniones muy polarizadas que reflejan una gran disparidad en la calidad de atención: mientras algunos residentes y familias destacan la profesionalidad, humanidad y dedicación del equipo, especialmente del personal médico y de cuidados, otros reportan preocupantes deficiencias sanitarias, falta de personal y casos de negligencia en el cuidado de heridas. Esta contradicción sugiere posibles inconsistencias en los estándares de atención entre diferentes áreas o períodos de la residencia.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire team at the DomusVi Monforte nursing home in Monforte de Lemos, where my mother stayed for a year until she was granted a transfer to her hometown. Beyond professionalism, I would like to highlight the enormous humanity of all the people who work in this nursing home. At a particularly difficult time for me and my family, they knew how to take care of her with respect and accompany us with understanding, patience and affection. I hope those responsible know how to value the great team of people they have, because they make a real difference in the lives of the elderly and their families. A heartfelt thank you to everyone. Thank you Leticia, thank you Nuria, thank you Iago, thank you Adrián, thank you doctor, assistants, cooks... to all those whose names I can't remember because my memory is fading. One star, and only because there's no less. It's deplorable that this pseudo-residence isn't shut down and making the news for its unsanitary conditions, lack of staff, and fraud. When you privatize care homes and have no oversight, these things happen. Eating boiled potatoes with custard for dinner, living surrounded by urine... When it's on the news, we won't be shocked. I hope you all end up in jail. We'll all get old someday, remember that, and I hope you're treated the way you treat others.

For me, the reception service was wonderful, but the nursing staff was terrible. My mother arrived with a sore, and I have photos of how dirty and covered in ulcers it was.
