La Residencia de mayores Santa Teresa destaca por su personal altamente cualificado y humanitario, ofreciendo un amplio programa de actividades y servicios especializados (psicólogos, fisioterapeutas, terapeutas ocupacionales) que han merecido calificaciones excelentes de la mayoría de usuarios. Sin embargo, existen reportes sobre inconsistencias en el trato a algunos residentes, sugiriendo que aunque la institución cuenta con profesionales dedicados, la calidad de atención puede variar según el personal, siendo recomendable mantener una supervisión cercana de la experiencia del residente.

My mother is a resident, and I've noticed that the way I treat the residents leaves much to be desired. Replying to José Antonio Torres. I have to inform you that certain situations cannot always be addressed, since an elderly person requires attention and care that requires a good team of friendly, pleasant, and, above all, professional staff. I believe that's what the facilities and jobs paid for by the institutions, which in turn all Spaniards pay for, are for. The only thing I ask is that anyone who isn't up to the task for that position should leave it to someone else who will be happy to do it. There are many people who enjoy dealing with the elderly. You have to be a bad person to treat a defenseless elderly person badly. There are also responsible workers. And they should know that people who behave badly ruin the image of their workplace.

The nursing home where I've seen the most activities, with psychologists, social workers, social educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and tourist outings, all focused on seniors. The only drawback is that there's a long queue to get a spot. But in terms of quality and care, I highly recommend it.

Dear friends, Ernesto and Pedro, I'm so sorry you're going through this situation. I went through the same thing myself, but with the difference that, since I wasn't happy with some of the details of the nursing home where my father was, I made a huge effort and brought him home. Every day I'm happier because I was able to spend his final years with the person who gave me so much. I advise you to do the same if you can. If you can't, try to get along with the nursing home staff, who I'm sure do their jobs with dedication and great effort. And don't criticize them on social media.
