My time at this care home was deeply disappointing, both professionally and personally. Working conditions are precarious: basic workers' rights are ignored, schedules are not respected, overtime is not paid, and any attempt to improve the situation is met with indifference or simply ignored. I wish you could make a video asking the residents; you'd see what they say. The only positive reviews are written by the managers and their families. On social media, they portray it as perfect until you see the reality. But the most worrying thing isn't just how the staff are treated, but how the residents are treated. The conditions in which many of the elderly people live there are deplorable. Hygiene is poor, care is scarce and often dehumanizing, and the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, especially considering what families pay for the service. It's not a place where I would ever work again, nor a place where I would feel safe leaving a loved one. I hope things change, because what's there now is unacceptable. Don't work there, and don't bring your family members.
