Continental Residència 3ª edad presenta una marcada división en las opiniones de sus usuarios. Mientras que la mayoría de las reseñas (cuatro de cinco) destacan la excelente calidad de atención, el profesionalismo del personal, la limpieza y el trato cálido hacia los residentes y sus familias, una reseña muy negativa alerta sobre presuntos problemas graves como sobremedicación, negligencia en la alimentación, malas condiciones de las instalaciones y un trato despótico hacia residentes y familias. Hi, I don't usually write reviews, but I'm doing so this time because it's worth it. I have to say I'm absolutely delighted with the Continental Residence! A few years ago, I had to make the decision to move my mother to a care home, and although it was an idea that worried me a lot, I must say that my fear quickly disappeared when I saw the professionalism and care we received from the staff from day one. My mother is very well cared for, receives so much love, and they've achieved the unthinkable, as it wasn't an easy case. They provide exceptional treatment to both the family and the caregivers. I could go on much longer, but I'll sum it up by thanking everyone who cares for my mother for their professionalism and saying that I will be eternally grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you so much for everything! ☺️😘

My mother has been a resident for almost two years and previously attended the day center. I visit her daily and always find her happy and clean. The staff is attentive, caring, and always willing to listen to our recommendations. It's a clean place; there are never any unpleasant smells. The room is always clean, well-ventilated, and tidy. Whenever I've gone upstairs to get some clothes, everything is neat and in its place. Any health problem or minor issue is reported immediately. I'm completely satisfied.

I am delighted with the care my family member has received. The team of professionals is extraordinary, providing the love and affection each resident needs and the professional attention required for each individual situation. They also keep our family informed with accuracy, respect, and care. Many of the areas are beautiful and recently renovated. The management team is always available when needed. The social worker always guides us on how to improve their stay, and the head nurse is always attentive to each person she cares for with absolute dedication. The receptionist is always very kind. We couldn't have made a better decision in entrusting our family member's care to Residencia Continental.

I want to warn families looking for a care home: do not take your loved ones to this place. Our experience was terrible. It's a family business (the director, her children, and her sister-in-law) where the treatment of residents and their families is despotic, especially if you pay attention and dare to complain. The residents are overmedicated to keep them sedated and prevent them from causing problems. In our case, we had to take my mother out of the care home urgently and directly to the hospital; she was in deplorable condition and dehydrated. We filed a complaint, but the inspections are useless because they always know when they're coming and prepare everything on the day, even bringing in extra staff. The facilities are appalling. During the winter, there's no heating in the rooms, and the mattresses and pillows are of very poor quality. We complained many times, and they never offered any solution. They also don't care if the residents don't eat. They take away the food without any prompting and then lie to the families, saying that the residents ate well. Furthermore, they went so far as to fence off the compound so that residents couldn't see or greet the townspeople, isolating them even further. The treatment the residents receive is likely also related to the conditions under which the workers are kept, forced to perform tasks they don't want under threat of dismissal. In short, don't trust any positive reviews you might read; we were extremely surprised by them after our experience. Be very careful with this place. I would never recommend it.
