Residencia Puentevea destaca por su enfoque humanizado y la dedicación de su equipo profesional multidisciplinario, con usuarios elogiando ampliamente la calidad del trato, las actividades culturales y el acompañamiento durante situaciones difíciles; sin embargo, existe una crítica importante sobre las deficiencias en infraestructura, comodidad (colchones, ropa de cama, calefacción) y calidad de la alimentación, aspectos que contrastan con el alto precio de los servicios. My special thanks to Residencia Puentevea/Geriolveira. They cared for my parents from 2002 until April 2025, when my mother passed away. For 23 years, I want to highlight the center's commitment and dedication to their well-being, encouraging them to participate in activities such as Carnival, Magosto (a traditional chestnut festival), the San Juan sardine festival, and other workshops. They have their own chapel, and the priest celebrates Mass there (my parents enjoyed attending). When they were hospitalized, they accompanied me, and if they weren't there, they would call to check on their progress or if I needed help. They welcomed them back with great care and affection, preparing their meals with fresh products (after so many years, I know the fishmonger and other suppliers in the area). GERIOLVEIRA is like having another family with excellent professionals; they help us through difficult life situations. To my parents Manuel Matalobos Sánchez and Isabel Salome Salgado Calvo, rest in PEACE.

A center that has professionals from different branches at the service of users and their families. Few private nursing homes do this or commit to having these services included. It's appreciated.
