DomusVi Stella Maris recibe opiniones muy dispares sobre su atención: mientras que la mayoría de usuarios elogia calurosamente la amabilidad, profesionalidad y trato personalizado del personal hacia los residentes y sus familias, existen preocupaciones serias sobre la calidad de la atención básica, particularmente en higiene y alimentación, que algunos usuarios describen como deficiente e inadecuada para la etapa final de la vida. Aunque el equipo humano parece ser el punto fuerte de la residencia, la calidad de los servicios esenciales requeriría mejora significativa.

I'm not giving less because it's not possible... my grandfather was admitted to this residence on a Thursday by decision of his children, my sister and I were totally against it, not because of anything specific about this residence, but because we preferred to exhaust all options before reaching this point... he was admitted on a Thursday, I didn't see him that day, but I did see him on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday... the first Friday I was there from 12:30 to 7:00 p.m. I found him with his entire shirt stained, as well as his face and mouth... on Saturday they brought him his snack with everything in his mouth, without having passed him in a horrible state, and on Sunday they say no, but they must have given him juice or liquid lying down on the seats in the room and he was completely soaked and smelling of urine... 3 days and we've had enough... the following Monday he was admitted to the emergency room and on Wednesday he died... Horrible place, I would never recommend this place to anyone

We arrived at this residence due to an emergency and they truly made us feel very welcome. We could see that they have a very family-like approach to the residents; they are accompanied at all times in a room with two people in charge, and the treatment is very personal. Thank you for your attention and kindness.

I am grateful for the very humane treatment my father received. He said the staff was very attentive and that he greatly appreciated their work, even though they didn't have much time to dedicate to him. However, I wanted to express my opinion on something as important as ensuring that the residents there have at least the opportunity to enjoy a decent meal. They eagerly await mealtimes, which become a torment when they discover the poor quality of the food almost daily. In their final stage of life, they deserve better. I hope this will be taken into account, and once again, I am grateful for the compassionate work. Best regards.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. They tried to resolve any questions or requests as quickly as possible, which was much appreciated. And they were always friendly and helpful. It's not just because it's in the center of Santander, but because the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We are so grateful for how they made us feel during our time together. Thank you!

Yesterday, February 24th, in the afternoon, the girl, who I suppose was at Reception (I spoke to her on the phone to ask her a question) was VERY KIND and GAVE ME VERY GOOD INFORMATION, which is why I feel VERY GRATEFUL.
