La Residencia de 3ª edad Madre Francisca presenta opiniones extremadamente polarizadas que sugieren inconsistencias graves en la calidad del servicio. It's an outrageous nursing home. To begin with, the staff is shameful in their treatment of residents. Each shift involves a different staff member, and if an elderly person is left unattended, they wash their hands and pass the buck. Sometimes people go without a bite to eat because they don't care whether they eat or not, or if they are left alone and unattended. Older people show up wearing other people's clothes because they don't even know who the clothes belong to. The food is worse than in the military: water and paprika pretending to be soup, or meals without any food at all. During the night, some residents escape into the hallways and other people's rooms, and they are not even allowed to sleep. The staff wants to attend to them as quickly as possible so they can leave early or secretly use the phone while leaving them completely unattended. Some even show up with injuries sustained when moving them or when they fall because the staff didn't walk carefully. It's a nightmare for the elderly and their families, who have worked so hard to pay for such expensive treatment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, NOR WILL I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Although the surrounding towns already know how things are here.

We're very happy with the residence. The food is good and homemade, the grandmother is very comfortable, everything is very clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful. Highly recommended.

I'm a nursing assistant with the Sepad (Extremadura Service for the Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Care for Dependent Persons). We took my father to this residence. It's very welcoming, the staff are highly professional, and the meals are tailored to each resident's needs. The services are outstanding. I can compare it to the residence where I work, and the regional government would be lucky to have facilities and care like this one for our elderly. Highly recommended.
