Opiniones

My mother lived in this care home for three and a half years, and although she is no longer with us, I will always have a special place in my heart for the staff. She was always treated with great care and respect. In my experience, my mother always received professional treatment, and I have only ever seen the same from the other residents. If there were any problems, they were resolved promptly. I completely disagree with the negative comments about the staff, as, due to personal circumstances, I received their unwavering support during very difficult times, and they demonstrated their worth both personally and professionally. Thank you all for your work, and although we are going through circumstances that are particularly challenging for care homes, I am certain that you are dedicated to the care of our elderly residents.

My opinion of the treatment of our grandparents and the professionalism of the staff is fantastic. My mother stayed for more than three years, and during that time, the treatment was wonderful. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone because of the humane treatment you receive.

Hello! As a family member of someone admitted to this facility, I couldn't be happier. The treatment is unbeatable; I couldn't say anything negative. You just need to ask all the family members. Regarding you, Sandra, it's unfair that you act resentfully and lie. Because, to be honest, I'm glad you're no longer there. If there was anything that needed to be improved at this nursing home, it was that. As you say, working in this field requires professionalism, and from what I can see, you lack it. Even so, and regardless, I will continue to recommend this nursing home to all seniors. Best regards.

I'm responding to the comment from the COCCO beauty center. Be very careful about naming names and making accusations. When you tell the truth, you have nothing to fear. At that residence and the one next door in Rosario (same owner), everything is a mess. I think the one in San Pedro and San Felices is also connected, but I don't know about that one. Shortly after I moved there, I got a call from the one I just mentioned, but I didn't go because of the connection. It's not just about working; it's about working well, having a vocation, caring for the elderly, giving them life, quality of life, putting yourself in their shoes, making them happy, giving them the very best of yourself. That's what it's all about for me. But the owner of that residence only cares about money...that's why the elderly are bathed with torn rags from Sacyl sheets that are washed daily. One day they'll be used on their intimate areas, the next on their faces. And they only get showers once a week. There are disposable soapy sponges...they're cheap. Or towels, of course. I find it degrading. And for dependent people who bathe themselves, they give several of those little cloths to use. Then another issue is the scarcity of meals; sometimes there isn't enough for everyone, and they're served very small portions of poor-quality food. There's no cook on weekends either, and on Fridays, the food for Friday night is prepared all day Saturday and Sunday. Another issue is that the night shift gets about fifteen people up and bathed, some of whom are bedridden and others cognitively impaired, up and bathed in the early hours of the morning, around five o'clock. This doesn't seem normal to me, and it's just to save on staff. Regarding employment, this woman offers internship contracts to adults with the necessary qualifications and professional experience. They work completely alone. Some of them, who are long-time employees and whom she knows, demanded more money, and the rest of their salary is paid under the table. For example, Isabel Antolín, among others I could name, is paid the rest in cash, and if she complains, she'll leave. There are nursing homes where the only concern is appearances for the cameras in the salons and for family members, and families truly have no idea how their grandparents are treated. That's why I sincerely recommend finding a better home for your loved ones. Thank God I work in a place where there is dedication, good treatment, and love. And to the person who wrote about the COCCO beauty center, take your family member out because they'll be bathed with rags, fed poorly, and treated like a sack of potatoes. I forgot to mention there are no hoists, and everything is done roughly there. They rush to bed and get up, and dinner is served as soon as it's over, all in a rush. It was humiliating. The time I was there, I didn't sleep. That's called humanity. I have never seen a nursing home in worse conditions. Poor working conditions for staff, inadequate treatment of residents, internships for nursing assistants who perform their duties professionally and completely under their sole supervision, on-the-job training at the residence by interns, under-the-table payments, constant staff turnover, persistent lack of nursing equipment, and residents being given only partial hygiene care using scraps of laundered gowns from the regional health service (Sacyl) on a daily basis... everything is appalling. I absolutely do not recommend working at this residence or bringing your loved ones there. They deserve the best, and as a professional, I cannot work in a place like this characterized by so much disrespect. Thank you.

A DISGRACE. I've never seen such chaos in any care home. I had a relative there, and the experience was terrible. To begin with, the owner's treatment of the staff is degrading. They are exploited, belittled, and she takes advantage of people's kindness to the extreme. That's why the staff never last long; they leave because they can't take it anymore, and those who stay are friends of the owner. Furthermore, the staff treat the elderly residents well. However, it leaves much to be desired in some aspects, such as the food, and the fact that she finds any excuse to overcharge. I've never seen such a lack of empathy from a person; it's sad that there are such cruel people who only care about money and themselves. As mentioned before, most of the comments are from friends/family of the owner, and many users are repeats. DON'T TRUST THEM. If you love your family, don't take them there, and if you do, it's because you've tried every possible alternative.
