Disgraceful, shameful. My mother, who was admitted, passed away a few days later. I notified them, and they received my message. From that day on, they stopped answering the phone, responding to my WhatsApp messages, and replying to my emails requesting a refund for the portion of the money she hadn't spent at the residence. The worst part is that, knowing she had died, they sent us the bill and withdrew €2,400 from my mother's account. We had to call them from an unknown number... and they finally called us back. They couldn't be more professional or a worse person. To deal with elderly people and their families, you need to have compassion, and the managers of this residence clearly don't. Think carefully about your loved ones before choosing their services. Shameful! 😡

The owner's name is the same as one of the names in the reviews listed, so you can get an idea of the quality of the reviews based on this, considering she writes them herself. My grandmother was admitted and hospitalized a few days later, and passed away a few days after that. The contract states that they must refund the proportional amount, but to our astonishment, in addition to not refunding it, they charged an extra month's fee, taking advantage of her death. When we tried to contact her, there was no response. Calling her from a different number, she did answer, but she still didn't refund the money. Regarding the treatment, after a week of illness, we had to notify them so they could take her to the doctor, and from there she was admitted. They showed zero interest in her condition during her stay. Deplorable.

If the treatment of patients is mediocre, the treatment of family members is appalling. We admitted a family member due to an emergency following surgery. There was zero medical follow-up; they only call a doctor if you request it. If your family member is unable to communicate, they don't contact them. Once they've been paid, they forget about providing human support. They charge monthly fees that are not justified. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER OPTION, DON'T CHOOSE THEM.

It's shameful and very sad that you're going through a period of mourning and that Joana, the manager, charged for a month's rent for someone who had already passed away, even after they had been notified of the residence's closure. Not content with adding to our grief, she won't answer our calls and ignores them. I just want to say that money isn't everything. It's a cruel and dehumanizing act.

If you don't want your family members to be robbed, avoid this nursing home. The treatment of residents and their families is unacceptable; they are only interested in collecting payment, even after the person has passed away.
