Opiniones

Residence to avoid. If you care about your family, don't take them here. It's a disaster of a residence. They don't change their clothes. Seven days without changing their clothes. You can see the bathrooms; they're disgusting. If your family member falls, they don't notify you or say anything. They tie them up without asking the family's permission, which is required by law. The food is beyond words. Not long ago, they were fined €80,000 for violating all the regulations. The two women who run it are a disaster.

My mother has been in this residence for a week now. Her progress since arriving has been incredible. She could barely eat and had difficulty walking; now she eats on her own, uses a walker, and is much better and more cheerful. The work being done by the caregivers, the doctor, the nurse, the psychologist, and the manager is outstanding, so I am delighted. 100% recommended.

This nursing home is AWFUL. The treatment is appalling, it smells awful, urine is everywhere, and there's zero cleanliness in any of the rooms since they don't clean them until 8 PM. There are stains everywhere, and the door handles are disgusting to touch. The rooms are damp and completely unwelcoming. The staff is aggressive and have absolutely no tact with any patient, not just my relative; it's shameful. They do whatever they want with the medication, and to my surprise, they don't even request it from the pharmacy. If you request a doctor for an ailment, they ignore you and even give you dirty looks for wanting to go to the emergency room. They don't even inform the ambulance about what's happening. The patient arrives at the hospital, and nobody there knows what's wrong unless you follow them. On top of all this, while you're at the hospital with your relative for a medical emergency, they rudely request payments for subsequent months by mail and insist on payment by phone, charging whatever they want and inventing administrative fees that weren't incurred. A terrible place, both the managers' behavior and the handling of admissions and discharges. If you don't want your relative's condition to worsen, run away from this residence. If you don't believe this review, just visit the place... It's a complete rip-off!

I had a close relative in this residence. During his entire time in that small house—because it's more than just a residence, it's a home for them—he received what we couldn't give him due to lack of time: comfort, care, personalized attention, all done with great love. You can tell there are dedicated people working there. I will always be grateful for the way they treated him, but also us, keeping us informed of everything that was happening and making every effort to make it as comfortable as possible for everyone involved.

My father is at the Argietxea residence, and we're delighted he's there. It's always very clean; there's no smell of medicine or hospital, and it's a pleasure to walk in. The food is homemade, prepared right there. The caregivers and psychologist treat the elderly residents with great affection. The managers help in every way they can and are very attentive to the residents. The doctor who visits keeps you informed about your relative's condition. You go up to the rooms, and they're always tidy. It's a very personal touch. We feel at ease knowing my father is there because we know he'll be cared for and looked after as if he were their own. Leaving a family member in a residence is difficult, but it's always much easier when the staff are professionals like at the Argietxea residence.
