El Centro Geriátrico Abando recibe mayoritariamente evaluaciones muy positivas de familias satisfechas con la calidad de atención, profesionalismo del personal, comodidad de las instalaciones y especialmente con la comida casera que ofrecen. Sin embargo, existe una crítica importante sobre las deficiencias en climatización, con denuncias de temperaturas inadecuadamente bajas en las dependencias, lo que representa un problema serio que contrasta con la experiencia general positiva del centro.

We admitted my grandmother to Bilbao so she could be closer to my family, and we're really happy with our choice. The staff is very warm and caring. The food is homemade, and the facilities are very welcoming. And my grandma loves it!

This is the third care home my father has been in, and it will be his last. The facilities are excellent, and the care my father receives (which is the most important thing) is top-notch. What my father likes most is the food at the center; of everything we've experienced, it's undoubtedly the best.

My mother is in the care home and I'm very happy. She's very well cared for and the staff are very professional. Despite the difficult situation with Covid, I've been able to video call her and talk to her.

I thought cryonics was only practiced in the US and Russia, but judging by the freezing temperatures the elderly residents are being subjected to in this nursing home, it seems the Basque Country, Bilbao in particular, is leading the way in Europe. With everything the elderly residents and their families pay for their stay in this center, the least they could do is turn up the heat. It's freezing!
