Opiniones

I don't understand how a nursing home can have residents smoking at the entrance... not just one or two... but up to four people at a time... instead of maintaining the required distance... always three or four people smoking at the entrance... very little respect for those of us coming in or out, both family members and residents... A very bad experience... There's no staff, and on weekends, the two people on one floor who are supposed to feed the residents leave much to be desired... Our father had three falls, always on weekends, hitting his head... they let him walk on his own instead of using a wheelchair... He finally died as a result of the third fall. We regret ever taking him to this place.

The laundromat is a disgrace. My brother's clothes are covered in bleach and food stains. They don't even bother to remove the stains or iron them. And to top it off, they prepare a bag for us to take the clothes home and remove the stains ourselves... Unbelievable! They pass on their workload to family members. A complete disgrace! This isn't just a review!

My experience as a resident is quite mediocre regarding the care provided. Personal hygiene is insufficient; residents leave with their hands and faces covered in food, and that's what you see. I can't comment on what you don't see, but seeing food stuck to their faces and hands... I don't have much confidence in the staff. Another issue with cleanliness is the laundry, which is often stained and sometimes bleached. I should mention that there are always problems with the laundry service in the summer; they use the excuse of a broken washing machine and give the dirty clothes to the residents' families. Another problem is that some residents and even some family members smoke right at the entrance, showing no respect for other residents who may have respiratory problems. Meanwhile, management says nothing and doesn't designate a smoking area, thus failing to respect the right of non-smokers to breathe smoke-free air. In my opinion, the musical events and other activities they organize are used to project a good image to the families, while the basic care for the residents, which is what's important, is not being provided.

Traumatic experience. The worst of the three nursing homes I've been to. The facilities are old and very shabby, even a step to get into the shower is unbelievable in 2024. But worst of all, the medical staff is sometimes absent on weekends and reluctant to send elderly people to the hospital. I don't understand why. I wouldn't recommend this nursing home to anyone. Besides, I think it's one of the most expensive. From the outside, it looks one thing, but the rooms are another.

They have no shame! My aunt and uncle are residents here. My aunt has had Alzheimer's for many years, and my uncle was recently diagnosed with the same disease. My uncle has escaped twice now, the last time last night when the Ertzaintza (Basque police) found him at 2 AM wandering alone. First of all, how come there's no one supervising the wards? How come there's no one watching the doors? And why on earth is the street door open? EVERYTHING IS WRONG, absolutely unacceptable. The solution they offer is for us to lock him up on the ward they have designated for that purpose. You can't get any less professional. Shame on the management. I hope action is taken. I'm giving them one star because I can't give them less. SHAMELESS.
