I have no words to thank all the staff at this care home for the care and attention my mother received until her sad passing. She was always looked after and cared for, and she was happy, which is what our family wanted. Thank you all so much.

Today I arrived at the care home where my mother lives and found a small demonstration by the staff at the entrance. I am writing to offer them my full support. I know from personal experience that they have had to endure countless hardships to reach this point, complaining about their working conditions, and that it only happens when management does nothing to address the problems of its employees. I want to tell management that it is shameful that a worker has to take to the streets to demand their labor rights and decent work, and I urge them to reconsider their policies. They have a difficult job, with schedules that don't include holidays or weekends, and it is very likely poorly paid. Please address their demands, because for the sake of our families, the residents, we will always stand with the workers.

I'm informing you as of April 18, 2024, that if you love your family members, please do not leave them in this center. Two months ago, my mother was admitted with four strokes, and despite that, she was doing perfectly fine. A month later, she began experiencing abdominal pain, which they said she only complained about when we came. My three sisters and I went down to speak to the center's doctor, and he kept telling us it was a wake-up call. My mother vomited black, as did her feces. She screamed in pain at night, and they told her to be quiet because she would wake up her colleagues. They sat her at the table with her colleagues, with a basin next to her. Her colleagues there saw everything, so if they did it to her, they would obviously vomit with everyone else. Therefore, despite her condition, the morning shift was extremely precarious and inhumane. Not to mention that he wakes them up by yelling and using bad manners, regardless of how they were feeling. In all of this, after three weeks (according to the doctor and nurses, saying it was a wake-up call), the nurses decided to call an ambulance because she continued to complain of abdominal pain and vomit blood. So when we admitted her, they told us her vitals were extremely low and that she had advanced intestinal necrosis and was in her final moments. So she spent six days in agony. We decided on this center thinking it would be good after all the ones we looked at; I don't want to even think about what the others will do. But social security gives us these kinds of precarious and poorly maintained centers and inhumane staff, because the sooner they finish off our elderly, the sooner they'll finish off what they have to give up to be there.

Regarding the staff, I want to congratulate them for their tremendous work. Regarding the supervisors, they are disgraceful, starting with NURIA, the center's manager/staff—a boss, to put it mildly. She's completely incompetent. She doesn't even remotely know how to live up to her position. Who knows why she holds it? She's ignorant of the reality of all her staff, and what they actually get for each of the residents. The fact that it takes more than two months for her to provide a single piece of paper is SHAMEFUL! A disciplinary case is what NÚRIA deserves. Come on, you're one step away from getting it... CHEER UP!!!

All the nurses, caregivers, cooks, and staff at the center are amazing. I've been very lucky to meet them and share their experiences with my mother's final years. I'm delighted with the way they treated my mother, their hygiene, and their personal affection for my mother and me. I can never thank them enough for what they've done for my mother and my family. I recommend the center; the grandparents have a lot of fun there and have a wonderful time. Thank you, thank you so much 💖💖
