Fantastic! For me, everything was a 10/10: cleanliness, space, food…it couldn't be better. All the staff—care assistants, nurses, cleaners, administration, reception, and of course, the Franciscan Sisters—were wonderful. Their treatment of the elderly is unbeatable, with love and respect; they are a true family. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart on behalf of my family.

My siblings and I were looking for a care home where our mother could receive the care she deserves, but none of the centers we saw in Barcelona quite convinced us. We stumbled upon the San José Residence by chance, thanks to some friends in the neighborhood who gave us excellent recommendations. We made an appointment, and the social worker saw us right away. She showed us around the residence and explained in great detail how the center worked, the financial assistance we could apply for to pay for her place, how the waiting list for public placements worked… she was very attentive and kind and gave us excellent advice. To this day, we can say that the care couldn't have been better. My mother is happy, and we have complete peace of mind. She's delighted with all the activities: exercise, bingo, music, karaoke, movies, and they even do exercises to help her remember things. She's very happy with how the staff treats her. As a family, we are very grateful for the care we received from the nursing staff, the nursing assistants, the social worker, the physiotherapist, the reception staff… In addition to the excellent care, a real plus is the residence itself, which is very welcoming, with gardens and spacious rooms. Her room has direct access to the garden and is very bright. We really enjoy spending time in the gardens when the weather is nice. There's always room for improvement, but overall, our experience has been very positive. We would definitely take my mother back to this center and are very grateful to the entire team for the wonderful care she received. Marisa

I went to ask for information for a relative. I was attended to by the Social Worker, Sonia. A great professional, attentive and kind, she answered all my questions. I really liked how they had it structured and the attention they gave to the residents.

The most dependent residents are overmedicated and receive little stimulation, probably to prevent behavioral problems. I don't like it. Despite the caring treatment, it costs a lot of money each month and they deserve more intervention and stimulation. Besides, the public placement never materializes...
