Opiniones

As the daughter of a resident, I feel it's important to share my positive opinion about the residence in general. My mother has been there since July 2022 and has reduced mobility, as she uses a wheelchair. I can confirm that there is ramp access to the building from the back patio, as well as an elevator, several patient lifts, and all the beds are adapted for her needs. Regarding visiting areas, there is the entrance hall of the modernist house for this purpose, and if it's occupied, the dining room or even the resident's room can be used for more privacy, if desired. Even in spring and summer, there's a back terrace and a garden area at the front of the house where it's pleasant to be. As for the staff, I can only express my gratitude for their treatment of both families and residents; they are respectful, patient, kind, empathetic, and dedicated to the care of everyone, as they are always clean and well-cared for.

My grandmother has been living at this residence for several years and regularly participates in various activities designed to develop her fine motor skills, such as cutting, drawing, and painting. In addition, activities like bingo, group exercise classes, and team games are organized, always on a voluntary basis. All these activities are related to local holidays, such as the changing of the seasons, Christmas, the Castañada (a chestnut festival), Halloween, Sant Jordi (Saint George's Day), and others. Recently, there was a change in the management team, as the previous one was unable to manage the center effectively. Despite this situation, the staff has continued to care for the residents at all times with professionalism and dedication. As for the staff, Albert, the center's physiotherapist, deserves special mention. He leads exercise sessions every morning. On Thursday afternoons, the doctor visits and establishes the necessary treatment plans for each resident, which are then reviewed by the nurse. All the staff are lovely: Basilia, Daniela, Marisol, Loli, Rosaura, Ingrid, Celia, and also Leticia, the current director, who also works as a social worker. I'm sure I've missed someone, but they all care for the residents with great affection and are always attentive to their needs.

A nursing home of dubious reliability, licensed by the Generalitat (Catalan government). The facilities do not meet the safety standards of the residents. Most of the staff are unqualified to treat people with dignity in their final years (they are burned out and lack empathy). They spend hours sitting in the armchairs. After ten days, I am waiting for the director to offer her condolences for my mother's death, even though she saw me collecting her clothes from her room. LAMENTABLE.

Horrible!! It's not adapted for people with limited mobility. There are no ramps at the entrance. There are steps. Getting there is horrible. There's no parking and public transportation is very limited. There are few staff members, and most of the ones there are reluctant to work. I don't recommend it. There are no activities for residents. They're kept sitting and bored.

If I could give it -5 stars, I definitely would. My grandmother was there at the end of 2024, and we had to take her out after 15 days due to the appalling conditions. It was a dilapidated residence, lacking adequate space for visitors, with rooms shared by three or more residents where even two would be too many. The place was neglected in terms of maintenance, hygiene, and staffing. Residents were overmedicated (when we took her out, they reduced her medication by half), not to mention its inaccessibility. I can't believe a place like this was granted licenses or permits to operate. It's a disgraceful place where our elderly are sent to die with the complicity of public institutions. It should be called "Death Village."
