La Residència 3ª edat Los Tilos presenta opiniones polarizadas: mientras que la mayoría de usuarios alaba enormemente la dedicación, profesionalidad y empatía del equipo de cuidadores, enfermeras y médicos, especialmente en situaciones difíciles, hay denuncias graves sobre negligencia médica (falta de diagnóstico de herpes zóster que resultó fatal), problemas de seguridad (robos entre residentes), y ausencia de servicios en catalán que vulneran derechos lingüísticos.     I want to express my gratitude to all the staff at the care home for the love, dedication, and respect with which they cared for my mother during her stay there. I have nothing but praise for the entire team: the social worker, physiotherapists, medical team, nursing team led by Sharon, but especially the team of caregivers supervised by Carmen, who performed their work impeccably and did everything possible to ensure her well-being, peace of mind, and dignity, something we will never forget. Thank you for your work, your humanity, and the support you also gave to our family during that difficult time. We will always cherish the care we received.     I wanted to thank, on behalf of my sister Núria and myself, for the excellent care that our mother received from the moment of her admission to her death. I wanted to extend this gratitude to all the staff at the residence with whom we dealt: doctors, nurses, cleaning, physiotherapy, reception, management, making a special mention to the staff on the second floor, both the assistants and their excellent coordinators. Their professionalism, dedication and empathy are priceless. Before my mother got sick, I appreciated the fluid communication with all the departments, always on the other end of the phone to answer our questions and concerns and to inform us of any incident. During the last days of her life, the treatment we received was exquisite, both the attention to my mother and the facilities we had so that we could accompany her in her final moments. Again, the empathy, support and delicacy of the staff on the second floor helped us get through this difficult time in the best possible way. Thank you for everything, Gemma

    Hello, my mother-in-law was hospitalized for almost a month to recover from a broken ankle. Because she had dementia, they put her on this ward. A week before the month was up, they told us to take her to the doctor because she had developed sores on her leg and that they were giving her Diprogenta for the time being. We took her to the doctor at the local health center (CAP), and when he examined her, he saw that she had widespread shingles and required urgent treatment. He asked how the nursing home didn't know what she had, given that they had doctors and nurses available. Well, my mother-in-law started treatment on a Wednesday, and on Friday they had to call an ambulance, which never arrived because she had a fever. It didn't arrive because they classified it as a hospital transfer, meaning it wasn't urgent, and she died while they were waiting. So, my mother-in-law went in for a broken ankle and never came out. We don't know why. But perhaps if it had been treated in time, he could have been saved, but we believe it was negligence on the part of the care home and since we don't want this to happen again, here is my complaint...😔

    I denounce the total absence of Catalan in the LOS TILOS retirement home on Sardenya Street in Barcelona. Neither the informative documentation they give to potential clients, nor the general signage (rooms, spaces, services...), nor the dining room menu... I had it as a preferred option but it has been definitively discarded, I will not take my father to a place where they despise his linguistic rights (and mine) in this way. And in case the management reviews the reviews, I have filed a formal complaint with the Catalan Consumer Agency
