My father passed away on December 12th at the Prytanis residence in Plaza Europa, where he had spent the last six months of his life. On behalf of my entire family, and especially my mother, we want to express our gratitude for the care you provided my father during this time. The entire team are truly outstanding professionals, and we entrust our loved ones to you. You treated my father with great care, affection, and respect, as well as my mother, who was by his side every day. At this residence, you feel like part of a large family, both with the residents and with the other staff. There is a wonderful team of people, and the facilities are excellent. We want to express our gratitude for the warm and compassionate support we received during my father's final moments, and for the delicate and thoughtful farewell. We felt very comfortable here from the very first day. Without a doubt, I would choose this residence again as my first option if a family member or friend needed it. A thousand thanks to the entire team.

I want to thank the entire team at the Prytanis Plaza Europa Residence for the wonderful care my father and we as a family have received over the past two and a half years. They were always attentive to everything, supporting us until the very end, even during those difficult moments when we felt incredibly comforted throughout the final process. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart; you are a fantastic team of professionals and wonderful people. ❤️

My mother died on October 15, 2025. She had been living at Prytanis for almost seven years. I must thank Dr. Ana for the excellent care she provided my mother at the residence and when she was in Bellvitge Hospital. She was always in contact with us. I also want to thank Bibi, the center's activities coordinator, for her work and affection towards my mother; Yiyi and Mar, the caregivers who looked after my mother, for their patience and affection every day; and Stefania, the nurse who was always attentive to my mother with her care and professionalism. The work of Dr. Ana, the activities coordinator, and the aforementioned caregivers was outstanding. Thank you. Regarding the management team, I must say that they always claim Prytanis is a big family, but they have shown me that the residents are just numbers and nothing more. Not a single call to the hospital knowing my mother didn't have much time left, nor a word of condolence after her death. We lacked official representation from Prytanis during these sad times. It's a shame because I truly believed they were a great family, and they haven't shown it to me.

I find it shameful to have to go see my grandmother and find them sitting in the dining room staring into space every day. The activities are VERY low-budget, and I'm sure we're not paying the price of a room and board. We pay for 24/7 care and companionship for our family members who can't care for themselves. What kind of companionship is leaving them in a room while you're talking in front of elevators?! You don't care about our parents and grandparents. And that's NEGLIGENCE! And no, I don't accept the comments: "We're sorry, we do the best we can, and we're improving every day." IT'S UNFORGIVABLE! Do you think we're blind?! I'm surprised you're not full of complaints! Adding to this, I've read in other reviews about the negligence toward family members with Alzheimer's. It's all very well to put up posters for World Alzheimer's Day, but then you scold those who want to escape because they don't know what they're doing there and are scared. It's inhumane treatment. And if no one is willing to contact the Catalan Department of Social Rights, I'll be the first to do so. We can't tolerate our parents/grandparents continuing to live their daily lives in this monotonous way. We can't have them at home and watch them 24/7, which is why we pay. But this is already a joke. Your response is very telling. Our relatives have told us they're doing nothing, and not all of them have Alzheimer's or dementia. So, you're doing something wrong. And don't worry, I'm in no hurry to have my review deleted. Because I'll rewrite as many as necessary. And if it's not me, it will be other relatives of people who are there.

Two months ago, my mother was admitted to Prytanis Plaza Europa. She had always been reluctant to live in a nursing home. My father stayed in this one, and he always felt well cared for in every way. We were finally able to bring our mother home, and I must emphasize that after 10 days, she told us this was her place and that she was very well cared for. Congratulations to all the staff for their excellent work and for this magnificent nursing home. Thank you.
