DomusVi Regina recibe principalmente valoraciones muy positivas destacando la calidad humana y profesional de su equipo, las instalaciones limpias y agradables, así como la dedicación en el cuidado y acompañamiento de los residentes en sus últimos días. Sin embargo, existe una reseña crítica que reporta un grave error médico con consecuencias serias para el residente, lo que sugiere que aunque el equipo en general es compasivo, pueden existir problemas en los protocolos de control de medicación que requieren atención. I would like to express, on behalf of myself and my entire family, our deepest and most sincere gratitude to the entire team at the DomusVi Regina residence for the care and treatment received until this morning, when my mother unfortunately left us. In these moments of mourning, we feel deeply comforted by the memory of how they cared for and accompanied her throughout her stay. From Virginia, the social worker, to Dr. Grècia, through each of the nurses, the floor managers and all the caregivers, they have shown us that they are a group of extraordinary professionals who understand the care of the elderly from the most absolute empathy and humanity. We can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the warmth with which they welcomed my mother from the first day, demonstrating a vocation for service that goes far beyond professional duty. It is truly admirable to see how they treat the residents, with a wonderful patience and sweetness that made us feel completely calm. We extend this gratitude also to the treatment they have given us, the family, especially in these last difficult days. They have been attentive to us at all times, offering us moral support and human warmth that has helped us to go through this farewell with much more serenity. We also want to highlight the great work they do with the daily activities, we have been impressed by the dedication of each proposal, with exercises very well designed to keep the residents' minds active in a creative and enjoyable way. We leave with the certainty that my mother could not have been in better hands, feeling at home and accompanied by people of exceptional human value until her last breath.

They were killing my mother. I had intended to take my mother for a month so I could go on vacation for a few days. On the third day, they called me to say they had to take her to the hospital because, they said, she was having stomach problems, with nausea and vomiting. When I arrived at the nursing home, my mother was breathing very rapidly, had seizures, was disoriented, and overheated. When we got to the hospital, her heart rate was 20 beats per minute. What had happened was that Domus Vi had made a mistake and was giving her four times the correct dose of medication to regulate her heart, and it was stopping her heart! We were hospitalized for nine days. I'm still waiting for an explanation and an apology.

I wholeheartedly recommend this residence. During the months my father lived there, he felt very loved. At Regina, we found kind, patient, and compassionate professionals. The facilities are bright and clean, and the food is good. They were with us during his final days with serenity and affection, making things easier for us during those difficult times.

Staying at DomusVi Regina was the best decision I could have made. The staff are excellent, and they also have a garden area that inspires a sense of peace. Highly recommended if you're looking for a residence in the center of Barcelona.
