I'm writing because I want to congratulate DomusVi on their new Director, Catalina, and thank her for her help with some questions I didn't know who to ask. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the entire team who are with our residents every day, from reception and entertainment staff to physiotherapists, nurses, cleaning staff, meal service, and maintenance workers—true heroes and heroines whose efforts I want to acknowledge and express my gratitude to. Please excuse me if I don't mention names individually; if you're reading this, I think you know who you are :) My grandparents were on the ground floor, and now my grandmother is on the second floor. Our family is so grateful for the care you provide. Sending you all a big hug and best wishes.

Due to life circumstances, my mother has been involved with this care home for many years. In 2020, when she began experiencing falls, she was admitted in a social and healthcare setting for her recovery. They have a very committed team dedicated to the residents, and I would like to make special mention of the functional rehabilitation program, but I will extend my praise shortly to all the professionals who work here. In 2022, she moved into residential care because she could no longer live at home, requiring 24/7 functional assistance. Until a few months ago, we were on the ground floor. The ground floor is for more independent residents, but even so, my mother has always been well cared for and felt supported and loved, as everyone is kind, empathetic, approachable, and very affectionate with the residents and their families. I chose this residence for this very reason. The day we came to visit, the feeling of warmth, the sense that the residents weren't abandoned in a corner, that they had activities all day long and functional exercise morning and afternoon, made me make the decision, and it was the right one. It's a completely different world from all the other residences I visited, and there were quite a few, because I wanted the best for my mother. Now her cognitive decline has worsened, which has led to her being moved to the second floor. It's the best decision that could have been made. On the second floor, the residents have much greater needs, and there is more staff, and I feel very at ease knowing that she is well cared for and that she can't hurt herself. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the professionals we have worked with and continue to work with: Carla, who is a ray of sunshine; Iris, who never leaves my mother's side and helps her walk every day; Salvatore, who pushes my mother to the limits of her memory so she can remember; Sandra, who always answers my call with kindness and efficiency whenever my mother's problem arises; and all the staff—absolutely everyone—because they are wonderful. I wish all care homes treated residents with the respect, care, and dedication they have at Domusvi La Salut. Here's to many more years, thank you.

My mother has been away from home for almost nine months. She's been in another long-term care facility, a private nursing home, semi-residential care, and on a ward (several times) at Sant Pau Hospital. She's coming home tomorrow after 45 days at the Domusvi La Salut long-term care facility, and all she can say is THANK YOU. To Sandra and Silvana, for always having a smile on their faces and listening to me; to the nurses and nursing assistants; to Dr. Rainer (please forgive me if I misspelled it) and Dr. Helen for monitoring my mother's health; to Noe for helping her regain mobility; to Nordine for her incredible empathy with the families in her role as a social worker; to Caty for managing the center with discipline and kindness; and finally, to Salvatore. You've managed to get my mother, after 84 years, to trust a psychologist. I think that says it all. And I know you'll always be her role model. So thank you so much for everything you've done for my mother!!!! 😘

The center is very good. They take great care of my father, and he is happy there. One of the staff members is named Mireia, and she is invaluable: she cares for my father with great care and dedication. She always looks after him, and it's clear she does so with genuine interest and affection. It gives us great peace of mind to know he's in such good hands. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the entire DomusVi team for the support and care they provide him every day.

My grandmother has been very well cared for and looked after at all times. As a social and healthcare facility and residence, it's excellent. The care, attention, and food are all very good. The doctor and social worker were always very attentive. I highly recommend it!
