My grandmother has been at Cugat Residencial for a while now, and we couldn't be more at ease. They care for her with so much love and professionalism. It is important that you thoroughly research the care home's ethical and medical approach, as well as the professional background of its staff. This includes asking about their experience in caring for the elderly and their philosophy of care. Choosing a care home is a critical decision that should be based on trust and the assurance that the best possible care will be provided to your loved ones. This care home, as reported by El País, employs "the first doctor convicted in Spain for euthanasia." Caring for our elders is a responsibility we should not take lightly.

Hello, I'm Jordi, I want to respond to my last review, and I will make it public as many times as necessary, so that as many people as possible know what kind of residence you are, with little ethics, professionalism, little morality and an infinity of adjectives that go through my mind. My only purpose is to try to prevent anyone from making the same mistake that we did. And they can take their loved ones to a residence where they are treated with dignity, respect, professionalism, ethics and the maximum affection possible. These are not unfounded attacks, we have reports from the hospital indicating that my father arrived malnourished and dehydrated (according to them he ate very well), photos where he was not properly cleaned, if we went without warning... even worse. The wheelchair broke. This residence was fined €40,030 in a work inspection, for poor nutrition, non-compliance with hygiene, health and medication regulations, violating users' rights, not taking care of inmates' clothing and utensils, non-compliance with schedules. I won't tell you, you can read it in an article from elMon.cat on 12/12/2024, entitled "MORE THAN 1.8 MILLION EUROS IN SANCTIONS TO NURSING HOMES IN ONE YEAR". The same thing happens with the Hourmann residence doctor, you can also see it in a multitude of media such as Lavanguardia, The sun, El País where the story that I already told is described... he had been sentenced to 10 years, and they called him the killer doctor... these are not lies to discredit anyone, you can read it in inf. Finally, thank everyone who reads the reviews and is showing us their support, this gives us strength to continue fighting and informing. The elderly, after working their whole lives, do NOT deserve this. In memory of my father Eduardo.
