Opiniones

I visited the center a few weeks ago for my 85-year-old uncle and I'm very grateful for the excellent service we received from Dunia at reception. The meeting with management was also wonderful. The cleanliness was also very impressive. The surroundings are beautiful, in a very peaceful area. It will definitely be our first choice if the time comes.

DO NOT leave your loved ones in this care home. My grandmother Fina, 93 years old, has always been in good physical condition. A few weeks ago, she fell because they didn't have enough staff to assist her, due to a lack of professionalism and incompetence. She broke her hip and was hospitalized. Upon her return, after being discharged and setting foot in this center again, she fell again, just after surgery. It's UNACCEPTABLE. And no, these falls aren't an "exceptional" case as some other reviews mention. It happens frequently. Sometimes they don't even help her up in the morning because there's no one there. We pay a fortune every month for her to be "well cared for." Let's not even talk about how they treat her; it's INHUMAN and DEGRADING. On more than one occasion, they've spoken terribly to her in front of us when we went to pick her up (I can't imagine what it's like when we're not there). This is due to a lack of patience, dedication, and the poor manners of the "caregivers," who are of dubious qualifications. You will read other comments where they mention the professionalism of their workers, but as someone who has a relative there and goes regularly, I confirm that it is false.

My mother died a few days ago in the nursing home. She was 94 years old and had been fading for a couple of years. My experience has been related to the treatment they have had with a woman who already had very few abilities. I am very grateful to them. They have treated her well, with care, with patience. This is a very complicated sector of work and services. We all want to be treated as if our relatives were at home. But the people who work there, especially women, in many places do a great job that is not paid for (unfortunately) with money. Surely there are horrible places. This one is certainly not, not by a long shot. Thank you for the attention you have given to Nuria these months. When it comes to the facilities and services, I am not too sure, but I can say that the spaces, the light, the area and the atmosphere have seemed quite pleasant to me. And, I insist on the quality of the staff, and the support of the professionals at the CAP. Ah! Apart from the reserved places, they have a good number of public places, with a reasonable waiting list. Don't rule it out. 😃

Hello, I'm the daughter-in-law of a former "day center user" of this nursing home. I wanted to express the profound lack of human quality found in this center. I say this based on the various situations we encounter when leaving a loved one in the care of this institution. The idea they present is a beautiful place with multiple services: physical therapy, therapists, sensory stimulation... and optimal patient care. The reality is sad, dark, and very remote; it's almost like a parking lot. The fault lies not with the staff, who do what they can with the resources they have, but with the director and "management," who, using a lack of resources as an excuse, justify: 1. People wearing the same diaper all day. 2. Solid diets with consequences for people with pureed diets due to swallowing problems. This is due to a lack of records and/or information sharing. 3. Lack of physical therapy 4. Lack of any type of stimulation for patients with neurological problems 5. Nonexistent postural changes with the progression and appearance of ulcers 6. And a long list of other things that tell you the patient would improve if you hospitalized the family member 24/7. (An idea we certainly dismiss, since if the care is "scanty" in 8 hours, what confidence does it give you to think that in 24 hours it will be better?) My disappointment and that of my family members is enormous, and I hope no one ever has to be in an end-of-life situation with the lack of dignity this place offers. I find it an insult to our society that places that should care for and provide well-being to people in fragile situations do business and forget that they are someone's fathers/mothers/husbands/grandparents. If you don't have the resources to care for them as they deserve, don't accept them or deceive the families. I do not recommend this center. And I think its management is very poor, with little training, empathy, and judgment when it comes to accepting "users" (as they call them), or failing that, with few scruples. "Treat others as you would like to be treated."

Hello, my mother is currently in a care home. I want to express my dissatisfaction with the facility because there is a lack of staff to care for the residents on the second floor, and I imagine this is also the case on the other floors. We pay money so that our loved ones are well cared for, clean, and well-groomed, etc. Unfortunately, we, as family members, cannot be with them, and we pay for their well-being. My complaint is about the lack of staff, at least on the second floor. I urge you to take action regarding this matter.
