Opiniones

We are very grateful to the team of professionals at the Seniors Pollensa Residence in Puerto de Pollensa. My mother received excellent care until the very end. What stands out most is the compassion and kindness of all the staff.

We took our grandmother to the Inca Senior Residence because of advanced Alzheimer's and the need for 24-hour care. The family was always involved and present. In two months, while paying €3,070 per month, her health deteriorated severely until her death. Our experience was profoundly negative. The treatment was cold and excessively rigid, with numerous obstacles even for basic care needs. The center has outdated and unsuitable furniture for the price it charges. Residents spend long periods with only one caregiver for more than 20 people, resulting in a lack of supervision. On several occasions, no staff was available, and we had to care for our grandmother ourselves. Hygiene was inadequate: limited showers, a recurring urine odor, and bathrooms in poor condition. For weeks, we reported obvious respiratory symptoms, without any effective response. Medication was administered without prior communication with the family. She was finally diagnosed with pneumonia and COVID-19, without any action being taken with the speed the situation required. We believe she did not receive the care or dignity she deserved. Based on our experience, we do not recommend this residence. They take your money first, but the care for the residents is deplorable. 🙏

RUN AWAY. THEY DON'T TREAT THE ELDERLY WELL HERE. NEGLIGENT PEOPLE COMMITTING NEGLIGENCE; ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS KEEPING THE EVIDENCE FROM COMING TO LIGHT. This old man has been left ALONE, IN THE SHADOWS, IN THE FREEZING WINTER OF JANUARY. A girl had to alert them because the poor man was asking for help. They call the director, JUANJO MARTÍNEZ, who gives the runaround... I'm notifying the authorities.

  • Well done

My father has lived in this residence for some time now, and every time I visit him, I feel at ease. He's clean, well cared for, and treated with respect. The facilities are good—clean, comfortable, and adapted to the residents' needs. The staff is professional and very compassionate. You can tell they do their job with dedication, and that's reflected in their daily interactions. Seeing my father calm and well cared for is the most important thing for me. I also think it's important to appreciate the effort that goes into caring for the elderly. It's not an easy task, and often, the full scope of what it entails isn't visible. Therefore, I sincerely thank the team for their work and the way they treat the residents. The residence does its part, and it does it very well. Thank you for caring for my father with such respect.

It's shameful and inhumane to leave an elderly man out in the cold in the middle of December. That worker should be fired immediately. What would happen if it had been one of your relatives? I only hope the man's family saw the video and took it to court. May a judge hold you accountable. Remember, you too will grow old.
