I'm giving one star because otherwise I can't publish the review, especially not right now, when I feel helpless, indignant, angry...sad as a granddaughter, for going through what we're going through, seeing my grandmother the way she is. My grandmother was admitted to the hospital yesterday with a stroke in Ávila. She was in the hospital for 48 hours, according to the neurologist last night at the nursing home, and they didn't tell us ANYTHING, quite the contrary, that she was fine. If she's in the hospital, it's because we insisted she wasn't well, and we had to take her to the hospital and have her seen by the emergency room doctor in Arenas first. Otherwise, they'd just leave her there like furniture. We can't understand that people who should be qualified to work caring for elderly people, most of whom are dependent, go through these things and "not realize." Please explain it to me because I DON'T UNDERSTAND. EVERYTHING that's happening there is outrageous... but they put on a different face to people, but the truth is there's a way. We'll see how it all turns out, but they certainly have very little shame. It's been more than 24 hours and they haven't even called to ask about their resident. They DON'T CARE AT ALL, it's just one more... And I'd rather not go on about things we've "overlooked" on other occasions, but this can't be allowed anymore. We just hope it moves forward, which is what matters to the family right now. And I reiterate, EVERYTHING that's happening in this nursing home is shameful.
