La Residencia El Cerrillo presenta opiniones muy polarizadas y contradictorias entre sus usuarios, con experiencias que van desde excelentes (destacando la atención personalizada, actividades recreativas y cuidados de enfermería) hasta muy negativas (reportando deficiencias críticas en alimentación, higiene, atención médica y falta de empatía del personal directivo). The caregivers are very attentive and friendly. My mother feels at home. They're always attentive and make sure she's entertained and happy. They throw her Three Kings' Day and Carnival parties. They send you videos and photos via the WhatsApp group. The nursing service is wonderful. I'm not giving it five stars because everything can always be improved.

My father was in the nursing home for a few months and complained about the food and the lack of attention from the owner and some of the staff. We took my father out of the nursing home because of the food, the poor service, etc. The final straw was when the doctor at the Ávila hospital got angry after seeing the poor condition of my father's ulcer and told me he would call the nursing home to reprimand them. At that point, we called the owner, José, to tell him my father was leaving the nursing home, and he never once asked why we were taking him out (what a lack of concern!). The day after he entered the nursing home in Burgohondo, my father told me that they treated him like a human being, and the food and facilities were wonderful. My father is in a wheelchair, and a very important thing that happened is that the next day in Burgohondo they gave him a shower under the shower, something they never did during the entire month he was in El Cerrillo; they only bathed him in bed. You can't imagine how happy he is. When he told me, I got a lump in my throat. Just as I want the best for my father, I want the best for those who remain at El Cerrillo. RESPONSE TO THE RESIDENCE OWNER'S COMMENT: My father wasn't kicked out; he left, and he's not dead. The lack of empathy is evident in his writing. His comment about COVID, comparing it to another residence, is shameful. The first thing he needs to do is read the review carefully and not make up a story to justify the lack of care for vulnerable people. More empathy and professionalism are needed.

Better on the street than leaving a relative there. I'm editing the review. He answers me from the nursing home as if I didn't know how they work: -unhealed wounds in the elderly -they have no leisure time within the nursing home -they lie to relatives, saying they're fine and... -the previous owner (his father) did provide better treatment, but now he wouldn't take a relative there, crazy.

Very nice people and very good treatment with everyone!!! Daily showers, good food. Aron, the owner, is a 10 as a person!! We are very grateful to you, for everything and especially for how you take care of my uncle!!! And the girls are the best ones...

They don't even deserve one star, but otherwise, it wouldn't allow me to write a review. The treatment is deplorable. Shameless is an understatement.
