La Residencia San Juan presenta una situación contradictoria y preocupante: mientras que dos reseñas recientes destacan una atención excepcional, humanitaria y afectuosa del personal, la mayoría de las opiniones denuncian un deterioro grave en la calidad de los cuidados, la higiene, la alimentación deficiente y prácticas comerciales cuestionables como depósitos no reembolsables y cobros arbitrarios. Esta disparidad sugiere posibles cambios significativos en la gestión o que la experiencia varía considerablemente según el residente, aunque las críticas sobre negligencia en la atención

This residence has been in complete decline since the previous owner retired. From the rooms and the cleanliness to the general disarray, the food is especially appalling. Fruit is completely unavailable, not even a single banana. The yogurt is made with powder and water, and the food is often spoiled. The care provided to our elderly residents is appalling. They don't look after them at all. The vast majority of the caregivers prefer to be in the lower part of the residence rather than attending to the residents. The clearest proof is that of the 24 residents this residence used to house, only about 11 remain. Since I haven't been in contact with anyone inside the residence for some time, I don't know the exact number. I strongly advise against anyone taking their elderly relatives there, as this residence desperately needs humanity, professionalism, and compassion.

This care home is not equipped to care for people with special needs. From the insufficient staff and the dilapidated furniture in the rooms to the poor quality food, I wouldn't advise anyone to take their loved ones there.

They charge a €500 deposit when the resident arrives and don't return it when they leave. They also quote a price but charge whatever they want, promising to call back but never doing so. The food is catered by another residence they own and brought here in a van. Any leftovers from lunch are packed in Tupperware for dinner. It's truly shameful.

Our most expressive thanks to all the people who work at the San Juan Residence, from management to assistants. Thank you for taking care of José as if he were your family. We couldn't choose a better place for him to be. Human treatment, with all affection towards all users. We will always remember you. We would 100% go back there. My grandmother passed away a week ago after spending the last 18 years at the San Juan nursing home. The care she received was exceptional; we felt they loved her as if she were their own grandmother. It couldn't have been better. The staff were wonderful, and the director, Isabel, was a truly lovely person, always concerned for all the residents.
