Opiniones

"You know about your job, I know about mine," that's what they replied to my sister after telling them that my mother was having a reaction to the antibiotic they were giving her for her urinary tract infection... I told them this for four days, and they ignored her. My mother was admitted to the hospital and referred to the burn unit at La Paz Hospital in Madrid. She spent three weeks there... I can't say what comes to mind because it would be a crime... Of the three weeks she was in Madrid, two of them were in the burn ICU... Now I'll talk about the three bladder perforation surgeries my mother underwent in two months... one on October 25th, another on November 11th, and another on November 25th... there was an object in the room (I have a photo) that would have looked great in a stable, but wouldn't look good in a grandparent's room...

A spectacular residence in a prime location. This, combined with the excellent care and attention from the staff, makes us very happy to have our mother in this perfectly looked after residence.

We've finally gotten our mother out of here. The decline in quality at this residence is enormous; it's plummeted since Mimara took over. They started by humiliatingly dismissing all the previous managers and leaving the residence without anyone in charge for several months until Angels arrived—I don't know if she was inexperienced or simply incompetent. Then they appointed Ana as supervisor, a haughty and rude person to residents, families, and staff alike. The result is total chaos. The staff runs around like headless chickens; it always seems like nobody knows what they're supposed to be doing. The food, seemingly very healthy, is scarce and very bland—inedible, according to several residents. Hygiene is lacking; they have a maximum of two showers a week, and just look at the smell when you walk in—it's anything but clean. It's completely deteriorated. Even in the courtyard, we found chairs that were completely broken down... and the hallways and stairwells, where the elderly residents have to walk, are unlit. Discontent among staff and a large number of residents leaving; in every care home we've visited, there are people from Leceñes or on the waiting list. If you want to discuss any of this with management, make an appointment and be mindful of the time. Otherwise, the director might send you to the basement or impose a 30% rent increase without warning. Hopefully, things will improve for the sake of the poor residents, but for now, they should run away.

It's a very nice center and the service is good. It's unbelievable that an employee would write those comments after they've left, just to cause unnecessary harm. Don't hesitate to take your family member there if they need it.

It has been a horrible experience. The treatment of my relative was deplorable. After a fall resulting in a hip fracture, which we understand is normal and can happen to anyone, we discovered in the discharge report that they were admitted with malnutrition, potassium, vitamin E and D deficiencies, excessive diuretics, etc. If you want the best for your relative, take them anywhere but there.
