Opiniones

My mother fell for the last time and broke her hip at Domus Vi Quirinal. Before, she could walk and talk. She was in the hospital, and I sent her to another nursing home. She doesn't speak and can't get out of bed. If you want a family member to end up badly, send them to Domus Vi Quirinal. They're the worst. And of course, they want to spend your money on Domus Vi. We didn't report it because I'm poor and don't have any money. Goodbye forever.

Awful. My father-in-law walked in three months ago. Despite his limited mobility, he was able to go to the bathroom, dress himself, and eat on his own. Unfortunately, his illness (dementia) made it impossible to guarantee his well-being at home, so we decided to take him there. Fifteen days later, he was admitted to the emergency room for the first time, despite the doctor's reluctance. It turned out he had blood in his urine, as well as an infection. We asked for explanations, and all we got were excuses. Now my father-in-law is hospitalized with a collapsed lung, sedated, and there's nothing left to do but wait for him to pass away. According to the staff there, who were informed last week that he had a cold and a runny nose, he was fine and there was nothing to worry about... well, you know. If your family member has a high degree of dependency, I absolutely do not recommend it, especially if they are difficult, as they will keep them drugged to prevent any problems. I imagine that with everything I've just said, you'll know who it is, and I hope you won't have the nerve to claim it's a lie, especially since we made our opinions perfectly clear three days ago. And we're not the only ones who think this way; there are other families who have gone through similar situations. You work with people, and you should treat them with dignity. I hope karma takes its course sooner or later.

My father spent just under a month in recovery, and I can only speak of the excellent treatment he received from everyone: the reception staff, social worker, nursing assistants, physiotherapist, cleaning staff, supervisors... Several issues arose during his stay, and we always had help and support in managing them. My sincere thanks to the entire DomusVi Quirinal team.

Regarding a review posted yesterday by Raulote Ote ote: "We regret that this review was published with statements that do not correspond to reality. At our center, we rigorously apply established medical and care protocols, always with the utmost respect for our residents and their families. We want to make it clear that we cannot accept comments that lack evidence and damage the reputation and work of professionals who perform their duties with responsibility and dedication. We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action against false or defamatory statements."

To have so many stars, the bandages used for wound care should be new and not kept to be washed and used for other patients. But management orders this malpractice. For this reason, and because I believe that hygiene and sterility in wound care should be fundamental, I left. And even after this terrible experience, the manager told me I must have gone to the wrong center. Of course, what else would he say? It's a disgrace considering what they charge residents' families. That's why I've written this review, because of the anger and helplessness I feel knowing these things from the inside. They should ask themselves why they lock all the rooms on the second floor...
