Opiniones

As a care home, it leaves much to be desired. If your relative is independent, fine, but if they need personal care, this is not the right place. They have them sitting all day watching TV. Physical and cognitive stimulation activities are practically nonexistent, and the nuns' lack of empathy and competence is shameful, not to mention negligent. The staff are excellent, but they only go as far as the Mother Superior allows. It doesn't meet the minimum requirements set by the regional government, and they don't seem to realize they're now earning over €1,500 a month for providing a service. Life isn't all about going to Mass and praying. And remember, sisters... 112 (the emergency number) exists. As you talk to residents' families, you begin to understand what's really going on, and it's almost better to stop listening.

We visited this past Christmas, and the service was spectacular. We loved the nativity scene; one of the staff members explained everything to us, including the history of the nativity scene and its creator. We also toured the residence, which has enormous gardens, several living rooms on different floors, and even a church inside. It's nothing like the typical nursing homes we've visited before; this one feels more like a home. And the staff were wonderful.

The door to the nativity scene was closed, so, as the sign clearly states, we went to the reception desk to see what was happening since we were within the permitted hours. The elderly woman at reception treated my grandmother and several of my relatives as if they were fools, disrespecting them and speaking rudely to them. This cannot be tolerated. When we arrived at the nativity scene and managed to enter, the nun treated us the same way, with disrespect, insults, and calling her stupid. This is unforgivable in a house of God. I had to file a complaint, and she refused to give it to us, also being disrespectful and speaking rudely to us. I will never see the nativity scene at this nursing home again. Please keep this in mind when inquiring at reception. A complete disgrace. A HORROR.

The Nativity scene is beautiful and the residence is wonderful. I would like a place like this for myself when I grow up. They treat you like royalty.

The elderly are numbers, not people, and the nuns are unprepared for the circumstances we're living through. Everything is very clean, yes... but my grandmother died alone, and when I collected her things in industrial garbage bags, no one offered me a kind word. I read comments saying they do good deeds; allow me to laugh... they work for money, and many have no vocation. I don't recommend them at all.
