Residencia DomusVi Carancos cuenta con un equipo de personal muy atento y humanitario que ofrece una atención excelente y organiza actividades para los residentes, según destaca la mayoría de usuarios; sin embargo, existen críticas significativas sobre el estado físico del edificio (deteriorado e insalubre), la higiene y la supuesta diferencia de cuidados entre residentes con plazas privadas y subvencionadas, lo que sugiere que la calidad de la experiencia puede variar considerablemente según estas condiciones.

During both my mother's and my time at the residence, it was a pleasure because they helped us with everything and made our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. My recovery was perfect thanks to them and their care. With my mother, the situation was complicated, but even so, they made a tremendous effort to make her time there as comfortable as possible. A huge hug to everyone and thank you for your work.

I'm very happy with the staff's attention; they are very attentive and friendly. They have activities, and I see that they involve the residents. My husband has been at the center for four months, and I truly wouldn't change it. I wish we had a center near our house; the only problem I see is the distance. It's an hour away from home, and I'd like to see him more often. Please continue working in this direction.

My mother spent three years in this care home. It's excellent; the staff were very caring and always attentive, letting you know if anything happened. They organize parties, picnics, take them to the next town, go on excursions, and Santa Claus always comes to give them a present at Christmas. My mother isn't there anymore because I moved her to another care home to be closer to her. I highly recommend it!

I have a sister in the Carancos residence. I can say that the way all the staff treat her is fantastic. They demonstrate humanity, something very important in these times. Regarding the building and its surroundings, I can't say the same. The interior is very run down and needs significant improvements. Access to the center by car from Infiesto is dangerous. In short, congratulations to the staff, and I'm also lodging a complaint with those responsible for Domus Vi.

Everything is very dirty, and the elderly residents who are unable to shower are quite unkempt. They have so few staff that it's no wonder nothing is in acceptable hygienic condition. At least, that's the case for those with subsidized places. Those with private places are in a different area of the building and may be better cared for, but I don't know.
