Opiniones

My mother was in this care home for three months and I don't recommend it. I had a very bad opinion of care homes, but I thought this one was different, and having my mother admitted has confirmed my fears because my experience has been terrible. I went to see my mother every day and I saw everything: residents picking things up off the floor and eating them, while the aide stood next to them smoking a cigarette without batting an eye. One resident, who couldn't speak, was covered in feces and urine, and when I went to tell the aides to change her, she came out an hour later without having been changed. My mother had very advanced Alzheimer's and was completely dependent. My mother became ill on November 11th and spent the night vomiting, and her blood sugar spiked (she was diabetic). The next day they did blood work to try to find the source of the problem. Two days later they told us the blood work came back normal, that nothing was abnormal, and that she had already started eating better because, as a result, she hadn't He had an appetite. On the 17th, they called us to tell us he hadn't wanted to have an afternoon snack or dinner and wasn't responding to any stimuli (like coming to say goodbye before he left). The room was filthy, shocking. We arrived and they asked us if we wanted them to call the doctor. WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT? When a resident is sick, isn't the doctor called directly? I don't understand anything. When the doctor came to see my mother, he told us that her sodium level was extremely high and that she was very ill, that she had to be taken to the hospital (the nursing home doctor had said three days earlier, with the same blood test results, that everything was fine). My mother was admitted to the hospital in critical condition due to the extremely high sodium levels (according to the nursing home doctor, everything was fine). They were able to improve her somewhat at the hospital, but she never recovered and passed away on December 1st. I have a very high opinion of Nieves (the psychologist) and Lourdes (the social worker), and some of the other staff, but I don't know their names. If you are looking for a nursing home for your relatives, I recommend trying another one to see if you have better luck.

I'm delighted to have my uncle living there, and they truly do an outstanding job every single day. Montse manages and oversees every detail, ensuring that nothing is lacking, all within a beautiful natural setting with gardens and a wide variety of activities for the residents. In short, with each passing day, we are increasingly happy and reassured that we made the right choice in selecting this residence. Thank you to everyone who contributes to my uncle Paco's (Valero's) well-being.

Poor cleanliness in the rooms, especially with the residents. Insufficient staff, resulting in poor service. The medical service was riddled with unforgivable errors. I would not recommend anyone take a family member there.
