La Residencia de 3ª edad Villa de Altea - Les Boqueres recibe críticas muy negativas por parte de los usuarios, quienes reportan problemas graves como la falta de profesionalismo en la gestión de reservas, deficiencias en el cuidado de los residentes (con casos de ancianos mojados por vasos de plástico inadecuados) y una gestión sanitaria deficiente durante brotes de gastritis. I was going to take my aunt, but reading the reviews, I guess I shouldn't have paid a fortune for such poor service. Plastic cups, cardboard cups? What, isn't there a dishwasher? And are the plates and cutlery plastic too? I have a feeling it's not as good as they say.

The place isn't bad, but my grandmother is often soaked because of the flimsy plastic cups that can't hold their shape. As soon as they are squeezed even slightly, the liquid (coffee, juice, water, etc.) spills out, and my grandmother remains wet until someone changes them. My mother has often found her soaking wet when she's visited her. PLEASE! Replace those damn cups with cardboard ones. Besides being more environmentally friendly, they are much easier to store. Or use the same hard plastic cups (pink) that are used for lunch and dinner. Let's look out for the well-being of our elders and the sustainability of our planet.

The experience was terrible and the courtesy was lacking. They told us they had a room for my mother. We went to formalize the reservation, paid, brought our clothes, and the day before we were supposed to bring my mother, they called us to tell us there was no room for her. Disgraceful.
