Myself and 2 other carers looked after Joyce till her dementia became so advanced and she could no longer live at home. Ava and her brilliant team took over and were so good with her. Joyce particularly enjoyed the crafts and chatting to the other ladies. She had a lovely bungalow and was allowed to bring a couple of her favourite garden statues with her. The bungalow was always clean and tidy. Every day Joyce was showered and had pretty dress on. That was very important to Joyce. Many thanks Ava and all your wonderful team we couldnt have done without you x

This is a fantastic nursing home. My mother loves living here. She enjoys the days out and the community within the home. She is so much happier being with other people than living at home on her own. Her room is bright, clean and spacious and she has everything she needs. She can choose to go to communal areas if she wants company. There are nice gardens that she can walk or sit in. The carers and nursing team are all very friendly and warm towards the residents. They even had a tea party and a cake for my mother's birthday.

We would like to thank ‘Casaverde Carehome’ in ‘Pilar De Horadada’ for caring for my Mum for the past six years, after being diagnosed with Dementia. We were always encouraged to visit anytime and always found my Mum and the other residents well groomed and smartly dressed. There was always a relaxed atmosphere, where the residents were free to wonder the lovely gardens and premises. As an onlooker, you would see staff always having time to chat to the residents even when busy. Mum’s room was always clean and tidy and Mum was always very excited when it was meal times, as she really loved the food, which the Management enjoyed too. There’s always been an in-house Doctor which was good to know, who always kept us informed of any problems. My Mum was transferred to the ‘Severe Dementia’ part of the premises for the latter few years. We visited her often prior to her passing this week and the care she received was truly amazing. She was well dressed, hair and nails immaculate, as were the other residents within the area. A member of staff came and stroked her hair and was talking to her, which was lovely to see and the care was always out-standing. Through the years we have had a few hurdles regarding various paperwork needed by the Government for my Mum, but can honestly say that the Management ‘Eva de la Cruz’ has always gone above and beyond in helping us in every way to get through our challenges and always passionate about the care of the residents. She is truly an amazing person and we can’t thank her enough, the Social Worker and the team of amazing receptionists and all the amazing staff from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, care and support they have given my Mum. Thank you 🙏🏻❤️

Our stepfather spent his final few weeks at Casaverde Pilar as he required full time palliative care. We were very pleased having good access to doctor Stefano and Eva the director when we had any questions, concerns or needed anything to make our stepfather calm, comfortable & his medical needs met in the days he was there. He wasn’t well enough to take advantage of the spacious grounds or access the activities available but they seemed very good. We would like to also thank the ladies who fed, washed and ensured he was left comfortable and clean. They were very good at encouraging him to eat and interacting with him when possible. The one thing we would find fault with was the cleanliness of the bathroom facilities as there was no hand towels, paper towels or toilet paper.

Eva the Director handled the stay of my mother with sensitivity and care. Communication was excellent. I visited several times over the weeks and found the care staff hardworking and attentive. Very kind and patient. Food was of a high quality and varied. Water and juice plentiful. Many group activities organised and sensitively delivered. Many of the staff speak English and other languages. I think Casa Verde is a professional care home. On site doctor was accessible as was the nurse. Will use again. Thank you all for your dedication and care of my precious mother.
