It’s extremely upsetting for such bad attention given to my mother in law, she was in need of care and good attention due to her medical condition. We had the understanding that the best help and attention this it was to be given but instead in exactly in one month upon her admission, the destroyed her heath and her health deteriorated into a downward spiral until her death. This is unacceptable in such modern times of our lives. Such bad service and care. Government authorities should pay more attention to such services and close down such institutions that only take money and don’t care for the elderly in need . Extremely upsetting.

We are very happy with the services provided at DomusVi Aljub, both from the caregivers, whose treatment is superb, and from the medical, nursing, and supervisory staff. Thanks to all of them, we have reduced hospital referrals and my aunt is currently very stable. Thank you so much for your daily work.

The staff at this care home are friendly and helpful, from the social worker to the care technicians. We currently have a family member who needs 24-hour assistance and supervision for a limited time until their recovery, and they are providing care with responsibility, professionalism, and patience.

Excellent treatment of residents and their families. Highly recommended, both for the facilities and the kind and caring staff. In our loved one's final moments, they treated us exceptionally well, ensuring our comfort at all times. Thank you to all the staff at the center for your attention and compassion.

They sell you the idea that DomusVI is a residence with a specialized unit for Alzheimer's and other dementias. They assure you that you'll have all the updated information about your family member: their prescribed medication and any possible changes, any new diagnoses, and their care and nutrition plans. You'll even have access to the latest reports on your dependent relative. BUT... the services and care they claim to provide to our dependent relatives are a farce. It's an outrageous hypocrisy that mocks all the patients and their families on the other side of this business. You start to feel so cheated! And it takes you far too long to realize it because you can hardly believe how absurd the situation you're in is. Having trusted that what they sold us... doesn't exist. And the first 15 days pass quickly, trying not to be too bothersome, but the whole family is very worried because we see that the situation isn't progressing as we expected. I don't know if the medication my mother is taking is the right one, which is the same one we gave her at home when she was nervous and which worked very well for her. She's losing weight rapidly, and I don't have any information about how much weight she's losing. She's much more anxious and sad than when she was at home. And I'm getting worn out day after day, calling and asking about something they assured me before I signed the contract, that I would be 100% informed. I see that nothing is working well and that my mother is getting worse. After 15 days in the residence, I requested a meeting with the Director. I'll tell you about the number of mistakes being made. When I finally see that the medication isn't correct, I ask for a urine test because it's not normal. And sure enough, she has an infection! The assigned doctor is going away for the long weekend from August 12th to 15th and doesn't prescribe the correct medication for the infection. Doesn't that sound like a joke? Well, it's not! Even now, I find it hard to believe that so many mistakes are being made in such a short time with dependent patients. They're neglected and forgotten. The administration also knows that the law of March 31, 2022, gives you the right to go up to their ward (with the measures we all know for these situations) to give them food if there's significant weight loss... but they try to keep you from finding out. And this is how Domus Vi treats our parents or grandparents... and their grieving families. What a sad business and workplace. My mother entered the residence eating a lot, laughing often, walking with assistance, and speaking (though I couldn't understand her because of her illness). My mother died alone, 45 days after entering the residence. She arrived at the hospital gasping for breath and suffering greatly. It happened suddenly, without any explanation to this day. A week after my mother died, I asked for information about what happened on her last day; but the person who was supposed to tell me was on vacation and would call me when they returned. That was in August... today is September 26th. And no one has called me yet. My mother's illness lasted more than 8 years, but these last 45 days at Domus Vi have undoubtedly been the worst of my life.
