My grandmother was there for five years. When it was run by the nuns, it was a lovely, clean, and tidy place, and the people there treated the elderly residents with so much love. When it changed ownership, everything went downhill. From the moment my grandmother had a stroke and became wheelchair-bound, the treatment was deplorable. The last straw was when I went to see her one morning and found her tied to a column. I spoke to one of the caregivers, and she told me it was because they had caught my grandmother in the elevator doorway. I asked her, what could a 98-year-old woman in a wheelchair possibly be doing in the elevator doorway? To top it all off, when my grandmother was near death after several trips to the hospital, the staff told the nursing home that next time she wouldn't make it and that they should just leave her alone in her room. Well, my grandmother's condition worsened, and without the family's permission, they took her to the hospital to get rid of the problem. So, I would never take any family member to that nursing home again.

My grandparents are there and they seem very happy and well cared for. I especially want to highlight Elsa's excellent work; she's attentive and kind, always greeting us with great manners and a smile, which is truly appreciated. I highly recommend bringing your family members here.

My mother had been in this institution for eight years. At first, under the supervision of nuns, things were going great. Then they left, and everything got worse. The pandemic hit, and the comings and goings of the staff (which lasted for weeks) made things worse. The shortage of staff means the elderly aren't being properly cared for. A few weeks ago, my mother got a wound on her leg, which didn't look good to me. I told the assistant, who told me it was being treated. A week ago, I got a call from the nursing home. My mother was having trouble breathing, and they admitted her to the clinic. The doctor, after conducting the necessary tests, informed us that she had sepsis, likely caused by the nursing home's failure to treat the wound properly. After two days in the hospital, my mother died. The infection wasn't detected at the nursing home until it was too late. It's not a small price to pay, at least not to be treated promptly and with care.

A terrible experience with my mother. During March 2023, my mother spent more time in the hospital than in the care home. She passed away in the hospital on the night of March 15th at 11:55 PM, but the person responsible for performing the electrocardiogram to certify her death did so at 12:05 AM, which is five minutes past the end of March 16th. The care home, following its own rules, has not refunded the unused portion of the month's stay, claiming that the death occurred on the 16th and they are not contractually obligated to do so. "Just for the five minutes it took them to certify her death at the hospital. Unbelievable. Utter extortion. Furthermore, the facilities are outdated and desperately need renovation, and its only redeeming feature is its proximity to the Clinical Hospital. Personal items like gold chains and earrings disappear when people claim them, and they have no explanation. In short, it was a terrible mistake to take my mother to spend her final days at that nursing home."

If we don't get my relative out of there, we'll be out of luck. He was super thin and half dehydrated, they blamed everything on his head. Now he's great! I don't recommend this place at all. If you love your relatives, don't even think about putting them there. He always came out with stains on his clothes and dirty glasses. Listen to them when they complain, because they're older but not stupid. The staff leaves a lot to be desired, with the exception of Luis the physiotherapist and Amor.
