I named my mother Solimar, she had a good reputation, but she's been there for a year and a half, and you realize things: little food, very bad food, and generally almost always the same thing. There, everyone eats the same thing, without taking into account that they're elderly, and each one has a pathology. They shower once a week, logically, they wear diapers, they urinate, and it takes a long time to change them. The smell is terrible if you clean them once a week. The supervisors are rude. The grandparents' lives are horrible. You talk to the director or the social worker and they'll find a solution, and that's how you're left. Terrible for me because I've been waiting a year and a half for them to give me help from the Generalitat. If I didn't take my mother, and let's not even talk about the psychologist, there should be more inspections. Why do they want to talk to me when 3 weeks ago I spoke to the director on the phone and she told me that if we didn't like how they were doing it, we should take my mother and not take her. Let your superiors know that you are not fit to hold that position.

My mother has been here for a while, and we've met the entire team, who have all seemed professional, dedicated, and always attentive and available to patients and their families: nursing assistants, nurses, doctor, psychologist, physiotherapists, receptionists, social worker, and of course, the director. The facilities are spacious, with a cleaning staff. There are TV rooms, karaoke on Thursdays, gardens, an on-site hair salon, coffee machines, snacks, water and soft drinks, and plenty of tables and chairs for patients and/or family members. In short, it made a very good impression on me. Furthermore, my mother had just had a stroke and was discharged from the hospital. She's been well cared for; the supervisors and nursing assistants have been impeccable. She's progressed from a bed to a wheelchair, and her health and physical appearance have improved day by day. She's been eating well, mainly purees, despite the initial dysphagia resulting from the stroke. Her emotional state wasn't good, which is why she's now with my father, who, due to circumstances, is also disabled and requires 24/7 medical attention.

The food is awful, getting worse every day. Even the assistants say so. I wouldn't eat this at home, and the director doesn't care. But she was quick to hold a meeting against smokers. When will she have a meeting about the food? And the cook spends most of her time pureeing leftovers from the day before or from dinner.

It's a shame, the food is better in prison than in this residence. The treatment of the residents is appalling and the food gets worse every day. Luckily, I've already filed a complaint with the Valencian regional government so they can come and inspect the food. Like I said, the food is better in prison than in this residence. When the inspection comes, they're going to be in serious trouble.

Terrible nursing home, don't even think about taking your grandparents there, I'm telling you from my own experience (it was on TV on Chicote's show as one of the worst there is) I will always regret having admitted a family member.
