Opiniones

This is probably the saddest review of my life. My grandfather only spent 15 days in this nursing home. It was a shame because it seemed like with the physical therapy he could walk a little again, and the work with the psychologist seemed to be going well since they told us he was adjusting quite well and they even said we could take him out of the facility for walks and other activities. But at 93 years old, his body said enough was enough. He passed away on September 15th, but he did so peacefully, without suffering, and in his sleeping position. He died of natural causes. There was nothing anyone could do, neither the staff nor the family. This was my experience, and I'm saddened by it. It seemed like a good place for him to stay much longer. He appeared to be well cared for, as we didn't hear any complaints from him, and we aren't there 24 hours a day. But he did seem sad. The only thing I don't like is the very limited visiting hours. You have to call the day before to book an appointment. You can only go one shift in the morning and one shift in the afternoon. Maximum 4 people. In my family, there are many grandchildren with children, and not everyone could go on the weekend for this reason. The other thing I don't like is having to wear a mask, but I understand it's for their safety against Covid… That's life.

How can the residents be properly cared for if the caregivers are working themselves to the bone? Besides their regular duties, they're supposedly also responsible for cleaning the facilities. One star for the residence and ten thousand stars for the workers who lovingly and dedicatedly make the impossible possible, and on top of that, they sweep and mop the floors. And a big hug to the residents!

How is it that a care home as expensive as this doesn't have at least a 24-hour nurse? The regional government needs to thoroughly inspect this care home.

I do not recommend this residence. Unfortunately, I took my mother for two days due to an emergency and when I went to pick her up she was alone in a wheelchair in a corner because she is blind. They did not treat her as a human being. She was wearing clothes that were not hers, the padding that was on the chair when I got home I saw that it was not hers. Before greeting my mother, they told me to go and pay for her stay, which was not cheap at all. They thought I would not pay them, well, terrible.
