My mother spent her last three years and almost two months at Savia Cheste, and the care and attention from all the staff was impeccable and outstanding at all times. She had Alzheimer's and couldn't have spent her final years in a place more suited to her needs. When we considered placing her in a care home because home care was no longer feasible, we did everything we could and asked everyone we knew, and everyone gave us the best recommendations for this residence. It was absolutely the right decision. My mother was happy at Savia Cheste; she was very well cared for at all times, and we also know that she was loved and appreciated by both the staff and the other residents. Right up until the very end, the treatment from the aides, caregivers, physiotherapist, social worker, social worker, medical team and nurses, cook, and even the director of the center herself, was incredible and something we are incredibly grateful for; not only to my mother but also to our entire family. We are immensely grateful to have been able to accompany her and, at the same time, to feel so supported, especially in her final days. As for the facilities, they were already excellent, and the spaciousness of the common rooms, the garden, and the bedrooms themselves is particularly noteworthy. The residents' restrooms and gym are very well organized, as are the large dining room and the various offices for the different staff members. Furthermore, in the last year, improvements have been made to the access to the residents' common rooms and bedrooms, providing even greater privacy and care for each of them. Without a doubt, we know that Savia Cheste was the best decision for my mother in her final years, and we would do it again if any of us ever needed it. Many thanks to the entire team for taking such good care of us from beginning to end. My uncle, Luis, has been a resident for 17 months, and our family is very grateful for the care and loving attention he has received. They are a great team of professionals who make it possible for the residents to have a good quality of life and for the residence to be welcoming. As my mother says, it has been "a second home."
