Opiniones

Today, I'm giving you the grade you truly deserve. Whoever gave their opinion isn't speaking from within. You treated my grandmother like a queen, and you've demonstrated your professionalism to us. You may not have the newest facilities, but you do have the biggest hearts, which, in the end, is what we all want.

A nursing home with terrible management doesn't tolerate any mistakes, and they certainly make them. The care is practically nonexistent, and personal hygiene leaves much to be desired. My mother was there in September, and after 15 days, her dentures were covered in food from all those days, and in the middle of it was an iron pill that caused a stain I'm still trying to get rid of. There are only two staff members for 27 residents, and several are completely dependent. Imagine how things are; it's basically just a place for elderly people to park their cars. So, this woman shouldn't claim her nursing home is wonderful because I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

People who obviously don't have problems in their own families with disabilities don't know or understand anything. But they feel entitled to give their opinions. I hope you never find yourself in such a situation. You're commenting on something you know nothing about and it offends the residence and its staff. You have too much free time and you're acting like a malicious gossip. I'm sorry, you're pathetic. You should see a good professional. The work at the center is excellent. I've had a very dear relative there for years and I know what I'm talking about. You don't.

I find it deplorable that they only take the elderly out for walks on Sundays, and it's not even a walk; they just take them out in the sun for a couple of hours, they get roasted, and then they're sent back inside. The worst part is a man who, besides being elderly, has mental health issues. Every day, rain or shine, they let him out and he doesn't come back until lunchtime, then they let him out again until night. He's had problems; he picks up trash and touches cans and sharp objects. Because of his mental illness, he shouts and catcalls people, sometimes going too far. Many neighbors, fed up, just walk by, but on several occasions, his shouting or saying something outrageous has ended up requiring the police to come. If letting this man out is their solution and hoping something happens to him sooner or later is the answer, then I think it's a horrible place to take your elderly relatives, for whatever reason. Before taking them there, look for another option or solution. Thank you.

I'm a neighbor, and I'm fed up with seeing three or four "regulars" sitting on one side of their facade for hours every day, drinking large bottles of beer and cans of beer, during nice weather (summer or spring). I hope they fix this issue in 2018, because I don't think it reflects well on them.
