I took my parents to this care home—my mother with Alzheimer's and my elderly father. Let me be clear: if you want your family to die of boredom without proper care, take them to this place. I had to take them out. When I took them there, there were no activities, no leisure activities leader, no psychologist. After 20 days, a so-called physiotherapist finally showed up. The most important event was mass on Fridays. The doctor and her office were like something out of the 1950s. Obviously, I had to take them out. It's a shame about these subsidized care homes.

TRAGIC. My grandmother walked in, talking, and we've taken her out in a wheelchair, unable to speak, in just two months. She was hospitalized several times during that time due to neglect. We notified the staff on a Wednesday that my grandmother's legs and face were very swollen and that they should be on the lookout because she was retaining fluids. On Friday, when we went to see her, her face was swollen and her leg had a wound dripping from the fluid retention, and NO ONE at the nursing home noticed—TWO DAYS! What if we hadn't gone to see her that day? There's a lack of staff and a lack of care. For me, playing with human lives is inexcusable.

After several months of my mother's fully assisted stay at this residence, I wanted to thank the entire team—from management to nurses, nursing assistants, orderlies, physiotherapist, and everyone else—for the care they gave her during this time. Likewise, when we had to visit her in her room, I want to express my gratitude for all the support they gave us to spend as much time with her as possible. As is normal, family members can never feel that the care given to their loved ones in the center is enough, but when you see your mother, who is unable to speak due to her illness, and every time they came to attend to her, she would light up and laugh, that says it all. This residence is highly recommended. Thank you very much.

The management of Sintrom is a serious matter; proper analytical monitoring and management by a specialist experienced in this treatment are essential. Malpractice is unacceptable.

Poor care for the elderly dependent. Secretive behavior to access rooms. The residence is worthy of inspection. Our uncle improved thanks to the transfer to another residence. Terrible staff, from management to the doctor to the cleaners.
