La Residencia Geriátrica Herreruela recibe opiniones muy polarizadas: mientras algunos usuarios destacan la excelente calidad de atención, la amabilidad del personal y las buenas instalaciones, otros reportan problemas importantes como falta de atención en el cuidado diario (higiene descuidada), comportamiento inadecuado de ciertos empleados y gestión deficiente en horarios de visita. La variabilidad en la calidad del servicio sugiere inconsistencia en los estándares de atención, aunque algunos miembros del equipo son ampliamente elogiados.

Today we went to visit a relative who's a resident, and they were giving her an afternoon snack. We waited, of course, and when we took her to the visiting room, we saw that her face was stained with dried mashed potato. We went to ask for a wipe or something to clean her face and asked the aide if she hadn't noticed. She complained, saying it was the fault of the morning shift staff. Let's see... If you just gave her yogurt, didn't you see her face was dirty? And if it was the fault of the morning shift staff and you saw it, couldn't you clean it? That woman isn't a good aide; we see something wrong with her every weekend. To make matters worse, we had relatives waiting at the door to go in. They open at four for visits, and at five they still hadn't opened. We were able to enter because we're residents, since we can come and go from the center, and they opened the door for us. We had to call them to open it, and even then, they took a long time. We need to be very attentive to the relatives of those who are residents because there are some wonderful assistants, but there are some who leave much to be desired.

Excellent nursing home. They provide excellent care for the elderly. One of the best in Castilla-La Mancha, but a bit pricey.

On Saturday I went to visit my relative, and I was shocked by the dehumanizing treatment of the residents, the "overbearing" attitude, and the poor management by a woman named Rita. Is this what our elderly deserve? I'm scared and disappointed.

The people who work there are very kind, attentive, and caring toward the elderly, making their daily lives easier and more bearable.
