Opiniones

My name is Fernando, I'm a resident, I'm 57 years old, and I've been in this residence for two years. I was previously in another residence, and as a resident, I can attest that we are treated perfectly. The treatment we receive is exceptional, from the cleaning staff to the management. I can't thank all the staff enough, since I arrived confined to a wheelchair and today I walk with just a crutch.

My grandfather is in the care home, and he's very happy there. He says the food is excellent and he's delighted with all the staff, starting with the management. The women at the care home are always attentive and ready to inform me of anything he needs. Honestly, my experience has been very positive, and I'm very satisfied.

My grandfather has been in this care home for two years now, and I can only say wonderful things about the entire staff. The director is an absolute delight; whenever we have a problem and can't visit, she's always there to help and resolves it for us. Without a doubt, I'm extremely happy with the care my grandfather receives.

The slogan of the Lucero residence is "We want for nothing. Because you matter to us." "Come and enjoy yourself as you deserve." "Ms." Flori, to begin with, I believe you should be removed from your position, as it's not just too much for you, it's far too much. To be in charge of a senior center requires empathy, which you clearly lack and show to no one. Please learn the names of your residents and then stop interfering in the lives and problems of their families and coercing a perfectly sane elderly person by interrogating them about where they've been, with whom, and where, all with the aim of coercing them and trying to convince them to stay, lying solely for your own financial gain. How much better it would have been to inform your son of the truth, and the truth is that in three weeks, this person has lost 1.5 kilos per week by eating purees of who-knows-what kind. Even though we take her laundry home, several items have gone missing (according to the laundry staff; some residents come in to see what they can keep). Her medication has been switched with another resident, and she was slapped by a resident, something you overlooked and didn't report to anyone. The next day, that same resident hit her with a shopping cart in the hallway, and I don't know what else has happened. Ms. Flori, I insist, the position of director is far too much for you, as you lack empathy, humanity, social skills, manners, and respect. Because to hold that position, you should also take a course on how to speak on the phone. Let me tell you, a telephone conversation has a structure: greeting, identification, reason for the call, development, and a polite closing—don't hang up and leave the family member hanging. I want to inform you that academic training is very important for managing a senior center, and I understand you lack it since you were appointed by someone else. Ms. Flori, you can't imagine how pleased we were to remove you from the residence and your underhanded dealings. Until the very last moment, we could see that you love it when families have disagreements so you can stir things up and sow discord for your own benefit. They were telling you about a new resident's family feud, and you were very enthusiastic about listening. Referring to the company motto, my family CARES ABOUT OUR ELDERLY, and they have NEVER lacked anything, least of all food. And I can assure you that she was starving, judging by how little she ate when we took her out of there. What matters to you, specifically, is money, not the health of your residents. We are taking her so she can LIVE as she deserves, with the dignity she has fought and worked for her entire life, and she can afford to be in a better place until she recovers. To the staff, strength to endure that woman and encouragement to find another place. Returning to you, Flori, we believe you're not interested in the elderly; you're interested in those who are mentally unstable, incapable of forming opinions, and if they're demented, all the better, so they don't inform their families of all the filth you have in there. I wish you an old age so lucid that you'll be cared for by all the relatives of the people you despise and belittle. Oh, and I address you formally, as "usted" and "ma'am," because unlike you, my parents raised me well. I greeted you the other day on the stairs, and you didn't even respond, but don't go studying that anywhere; you won't learn it. P.S. Please don't put your relatives in this residence if you can avoid it. And furthermore, we will report all of this to social services.
